I saw God today ....
When the gentle winds blew,
He reminded me of this that HE
was everywhere, all around me,
no matter where I am, wherever I
go, when I'm asleep or when I'm awake,
He is there and always will be.

I saw God today ....
When the classic Corvette
came zooming by like speedy Gonzales,
For He reminded me how quick He is
to answer our prayers, to rescue us
in times of trouble, to deliver us and
to pull us into His loving arms.

I saw God today ....
When the Sparrow flew down to the ground
seeking for some mealy bugs.
He reminded me of the song:
of how His eye is on the sparrow,
and He watches over us, and He has
that much love and compassion upon us.

Southie - That was beautiful! I have tears in my eyes. Through your words, I saw God today. Thank you!!!!

It wasn't today but it's taken me this long to get my words together.

Thursday I had to drive to an appointment that I was looking forward to but for some reason the drive is something that I just didn't want to make...

As I headed out I noticed a small splash of orange in the neighbors tree... bright orange. Then a few miles away I noticed a splash of red and a splash of orange in a group of trees...

It then hit me... God has his paintbrushes out... showing us all of the bright bold colors that he can before he sends us the browns, grays, and then the bright white of winter. It amazes me that he reminds us how beautiful this little planet is with just a few swipes from his paint brushes.

Actually... In the fall.. I often picture fall as God with a BIG paintbrushes full of Reds, Yellows, and Oranges.... I can see Him standing there, looking at the trees knowing they are going to turn brown soon...but he takes each brush, flicks the end, splashing paint of bright brilliant colors onto the trees for all to see...but for a limited time only.

I saw God's artwork that day on my drive... I guess it wasn't a bad drive after all... I hope the colors are still there as I make the same trek at the end of this week...

after I had crawled in the attic to get halloween decorations down hot hot hot up there!!... I put away the ladder and I needed to sit outside and have a cold sun tea. I was looking into my back yard and listening to the cherps and peeps of birds.Then I noticed my purple berry bush was a gathering for a huge flock of cedar wax wing birds. I watched as they sat there all gathered enjoying the puple berries that have ripened. One will pluck a berry and pass it to the bird next to it and that bird wil pass it to the one next to them and so on until finaly it reaches the last bird and is eatten. they switch positions so every bird gets to enjoy the berries. I thought of God and how creatures take care and share and watch over one another and I know I witnessed Gods work today.

I woke up today with my alarm playing George Strait's---I Saw God Today... Coincidence??? Maybe...Maybe Not.

I knew today was going to be a rough day and this turned out to be true... but I'm still breathing so that makes it a good day.

I don't know if this is a God sighting or not...but while traveling in the passenger seat today... I saw the cutest bright orange VW Beetle Rag Top pass us... then as we got behind the VW... I noticed a bright orange VW Beetle hardtop in front of a Semi.

I watched as the convertible passed the hardtop... The occupants of each VW waved at each other... like a brotherhood of VW Beetle owners... just like motorcycle drivers wave at each other...

As we passed the VW hardtop... the female driver was smiling from ear to ear... the driver of the rag top made this lady smile with just the wave of a hand.

Funny how God works in small and mysterious ways... Not only did he bring joy to the drivers of the VW's... he brought smiles to the faces of two people who had a hard day, passing by in a SUV...

I saw God today...

I am glad to find this thread and read it all over again . very much needed .

I was up very early this morning decided to have cuppa tea outside before the rest of the world woke up . The stars dazzled my pre dawn horizon . The stillness offered comfort and strength.The cool air renewing and very welcomed.
I saw signs of God today ....
Wonder if anyone else has seen signs of God recently???

Visiting my Dad who descends through Alzheimers, I saw God in his smile painted both in eyes and lips, a smile of recognition for me, one whom he knows and loves.
