Heart 19 November

I am so sorry to have been away for so long..... so long..... Things have been going with difficulty here as my search for work has produced no positive result. We have decided over a month ago we need to put the house on the market, and so much has had to happen in the meantime. Yesterday, the pole went in the yard. We are all feeling down about this prospect. Don't know what God has in store.... just don't know.

Lon, I saw your question about the numbness in the feet, and yes, the numbness still continues to this day. Actually, in the left leg I am numb below the knee. So, combined with not supposed to lift anything and such I feel less than optimally useful as family members and friends try to prepare us to leave our home. Nevertheless, the Boston Sci unit does do its job. It does.

Now if I can only be led to a job that will help support my family. Feeling very low. Very low.

You have all been a Godsend posting prayers and hopes for a brighter tomorrow for us,
I am blessed by you,
Mark56

Mark, I am so sorry that you and your family are having such a rough time right now. I was reading back over your thread (to prepare me for Monday) and you are such a remarkable person that has been through so much! I appreciate how you shared your experiences with all of us so that we would not be so afraid to go through the procedure ourselves. I hope that things get worked out and get better for you very soon! I am sure that God has a special plan for you up ahead! You are in my thoughts and ! Take care 'sTara

Heart 28 November

Just returned from an evening prayer service at our church. It was supposed to be a special advent opportunity where surely several would appear. The pastor, the proctor, the videographer, and the sound tech were there and then there was me. The only who came for prayer. I poured out my heart, my deepest darkest most recent thoughts for our pastor, and we prayed, oh how we prayed, and we prayed some more. God was there, even just for me.

Our house was on the market for three days this week when it sold. Remarkable, three days. Think back to the resurrection story and you can see God all over it. Now we are searching in earnest for a place to relocate which will take us though I have no employment.

Still looking for employment in earnest. All of this because of the blessing of the stim which still does work and work well. I was having a pain spike very recently and so I upped the signal beaucoup. It helped, but surely gives me a feeling of being in the shivers. I feel cold all of the time. I know it does not help that in the last 7 weeks I have lost 50 pounds due to the dire stress under which I have lived with this thing with the house approaching and no work yet on the horizon. No, I cannot just hang a shingle, that was not the kind of legal work I did, being the chief of a corporate staff of lawyers on the board of directors of a fairly corporation, I became a generalist/manager, now the challenge is to take my 50 something body and find the place where I can be of service. Oh, how I would so like to be employed once again.

So moving is approaching fast, and I have to watch it. No lifting. No lifting. I am a bystander. Well, please pray that God leads us to a home for our family and employment to sustain. Sure, the proceeds from our sale will sustain for a while, but all things come to an end and employment is the only way to provide.

Thank you to those of you who have read this thread as inspiration toward your SCS, it was always intended just as that, and I have thought to put it in book form, but then there is the convincing of a publisher to make it real for the shelves.......

My love, prayers, concern, and hopes for the best for you all,
Mark56

Oh so good to hear from you my friend. You are in my daily prayers.
I am feeling the frequent weather changes and I would guess that is not helping you through all of this. I was gifted wtih a small white bundle of fur today from my spouse, a pup out of one of his cattle dogs, but she seemed too shy to progress. At this moment, the 3 year old is sleeping in one chair the the "shy' pup is cheerfuly playing tug of war with a blanket in another. It is snowing here today and the wind is blowing 9 0. I work the next 6 in a row so am trying to rest today.

Crazy Oh, it is SO GOOD to hear from you!

THANK YOU for checking in!!

I was beginning to think everyone was scattering off into bolivia

I'm a MESS without my PEEPS!!!!

PLEASE let's stick together!!

I know God has a huge plan for you, dear Mark!! This I 'know'.....
Your house sold in 3 DAYS!! THAT is amazing! Although I'm sure this is very bittersweet.....I don't know how long you've lived in that house, but I'm sure there are many heartstrings and memories therein....
God is on the move......He will carry you.....
You've got a new beginning in store for you.

Pooh! Dogs are such wonderful companions!! I have 2 boxers....they constantly give me joy.....they are precious!
Keep trusting Him ok......

As you can tell by all of us who are hanging on to your precious thread here....we await His next move....

I wonder how Tara's procedure went today! Hopefully we'll hear soon....
Prayerfully.....
Rae
