Heart You be Keerful Out There Yuh Heah

RAE, Don't want you so off of the device that you have a rage of pain either. Oh, and it is a Bar Exam, not a Board Exam, I would have to take to git after somebody in KS land.

I just hope and pray that your solution is easily at hand and that the revision is not too traumatic, you know?!? This needs to be done and done soon, and then you can figure out with your docs the right course of action regarding use and disuse of BuzzLightyear.

Pooh, you take care too, sorry you have to take those break through meds! I have been following your Nurse Pooh instructions and think things are improving cold wise. Thank you!

Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas,
Mark56

Trying to catch up on my NT forum on all i missed in the last 2 weeks and Firstly Rae i loved if that's the right word!! reading your story as I never knew whaat had brought you to this wonderful forum, but i am in shock reading about your pain disappearinng it would be wonderful if you were going through a 'remission' ! just something my dr said to me in the last few days i thought i should mention. He did say to me that it would be possible for me to turn off my unit in aabout a year ( we were discussing pregnancy )and that i could find that my symtoms or pain would not return for a good few days and that the reason for this was that my body would have received enough therapy over that time to not immediately return within days or hours to the way pain comes back now if they turn off my device. I don't know if this will be the same for you and i still hope that your body is cured!! I have never said so many prayers as I have since i joined this forum but I always say a few prayers every night for my NT friends.

Heart Thank you Jenna!

It's wonderful to have you sounding so good!!
But OH MY LORD you guys have made the international NEWS, as your weather continues to bring sub-zero arctic freezes and more SNOW!
Northern Ireland is getting hammered! I heard this on the radio as I took my boys to school this morning.

Yes, after all this time I finally decided I should start an 'official' thread of my own, as opposed to pouncing around everyone else's threads all the time and since I am now facing a VERY interesting and challenging situation, I thought it would benefit the forum, if for no other reason than to be a good EYE OPENER regarding LEAD MIGRATION!

It is pretty common, especially with the percutaneous-placed leads.
It seems that there are more paddle-lead folks here, which is good, despite the fact that it requires a much more 'involved' surgery via laminectomy. BUT, it is a wise 'investment', as the chances of complications seem to be much lower. Any complications that DO arise seem to stem from the actual battery IPG unit, as opposed to the electrodes and leads.

I am SO VERY interested in your unit!! I've got so many questions to ask, but I don't want to 'bombard' you. It's just so good having you back and doing so good.
Thank you for that input of what your Dr said to you....about turning the unit off around the one-year mark....hmmmm, this really has me wondering.
This bit of info kind of falls in line with what Pooh was sharing. She was able to turn hers off for up to 4 days, but then the pain would return with a vengence!
This will be a wait-and-see I guess. I'm just 'wingin it' along. I have faith that things will fall into place as they should. I'll get the revision (don't know WHEN yet) and then we'll see from there.

I can say with much certainty that unfortunately NO, I am not 'cured'.....I am feeling more pain today and that haunting burning feeling is lurking...
Yes, ...... a 'remission' could easily be misconstrued by a desperate soul, as that of a spontaneous healing of sorts....... so, as for this particular window of time, I will remain in 'denial' and blissfully dally on .....

......emmm, excuse me while I dig thru my purse for my BREAKTHRU MEDS @#$%@*(&?### @#$%^)CR@PCR@PCR@P!!!

THANK YOU for all your prayers!! KEEP THEM COMING!
I'm enjoying reading your thread as it unfolds!

OH DEAR MARK!! Sorry for the boo-boo......BAR EXAM is the ticket!
YES! I said 'Board Exam'.... Good Lord.
I stand corrected, mate~......thank you for continually putting up with my stupidity.....

Shocked Got My XRay Films of the Leads!

I'll try to figure out how to post 'thumbnail' pics of the x-rays showing my migrated leads!!

I'm not real savy with this type of stuff, so I might have to find someone to help me, but I mean WOW, this is something you MUST SEE!!
