thank you for another day

i awake throughout the night
from my throbbing pain
the constant
slow death
of ones body

i find it strange
creepy and eerie
it isn't like old memories
they are for certain dreams
and they come back
recalled
bombarded
one after another
it is frighting
as i realize i'm in waking state
like film on a reel
one dream after another
they bombard so quickly
hundreds in such speed
and then it's gone
i have no clue of its purpose
but it is happening
and i'm not on a trip
to a place i need special
care just freaky happenings
anyhow

sleep over at mamaws
having a little trouble mamma
isn't here
have to tend to her

How we need one another. What God asks sometimes seems more difficult than we can endure.

Your post of 7/14 seemed like you may have been experiencing something close to hallucinating. Just wondering if bad reaction to meds or possibly a fever.

After attending Church at noon, met with children, their spouses, and grandchildson at restaurant celebrating my Birthday today. Somehow pain seemed more bearable. Woke out of my sleep this a.m. with terrible pain in spite of Ambien Cr., Oxycontin, etc., the pain broke thru. I did so want this to be a day with less pain; but not to be. Did, of course, manage smiles so we could enjoy time together.

Thank you Blessed Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit,

Thank you Mother Mary, comfort us as you did your Son,
take our hand and bring us "Home".

in my case it has happened

to 15 years
and they are for certain
i also a sane
although honestly
i believe we all have
interesting lives
some more colorful
than others
i wrote about it
because i can recall

Just hold on, sister. Pain sucks, but your steadfastness is a blessing to me. I've spent more than a few nights crying and just wanting the pain to STOP, too. Or at least wishing it would back off a bit. I usually wake up about every hour or two with that annoying burning and numbness in my legs and feet, get up and pace around the house for awhile, then go back to bed and pray for sleep. But our God is a good God, and I've found that His grace is always sufficient (whether I think so or not at the time).

You've been through a lot, yet you still believe. I think God rewards that kind of faith. So glad you have your sweet little grandchild to cuddle and love. There's a huge blessing right there, as you well know.

Also know that there are those here who care, too.....about you.
