Default Yep sounds like a muscle spasm

Fortunately for me, mine are usually not that bad. I've tried Soma, Slelaxine (I think that's how you spell it), baclofen, and Flexeril and hands down the Flexeril helps the best. Soma is a close second but is incredibly sedating. I've taken Xanax and klonopin before - for sleep - but haven't used them for muscle spasms. Interesting that I should see this question today. Yesterday was Thanksgiving and I don't know what possessed me into thinking I could sit for 4!!! hours on a dining room table chair (with a thin layer of cushioning) not on a cushioned seat or sofa. My husband could have brought my manual wheelchair in so I could at least sit on my usual cushion. I'm having tremendous spasms in my back and hips. Geez Louise are they bad! I normally take the Flexeril twice a day but can take it three times so I'm upping that, taking all the breakthrough Oxycodone I'm allowed, Ibuprofen - it's going to be a lllooonnnnggg day.

Jackie - since this is a new symptom for you I'd recommend that you see your doctor(s) and ask for a full workup. I know it's probably the last thing you want to do - go to another doctor! But, it does
sound like a serious muscle spasm and you don't want to go around having those everyday. Take care -
