Mark, you are one amazing person and I attribute your positive attitude, gumption , tenacity and perseverance to your Faith in our Heavenly Father. You always give Him the praise and He has selected you to be a steadfast witness for Him. By reading your posts I know you are not just talkin' the talk, you are walkin' the walk, with Him.
May He continue to bless and keep you and your family.

Great news Mark. God is Good!
So much to be thankful for..God, family and friends.
The people here who share give more to others than they realize. May you all be blessed this Thanksgiving.

Heart Oh How Great and Good

God delivered me through the depths of pain and brought me here where there is most assuredly a wonderful spirit of sharing and compassion. Indeed He is great and good, a true reason for celebrating the spirit of Thanksgiving.
May yours be precious, all of you,
Blessed am I,
The buzz of my SCS is wonderfully present within my lumbar and legs bringing restoration to my life,
Humbly grateful,
Mark56

Heart 22 November Thanksgiving Day, a US tradition

We are told those who brought Western Civilization to these shores at the price of impacting the pre-existing Western Civilization [we are rather oxy moronic as a culture] brought as well a foundation of gratitude as they sought release from oppression both religiously and societally. Life was intended to be and has become a realization of the expression of myriad faiths within one land. In this I am grateful, for we did experience a wondrous day of time with family realizing our BLESSINGS and the source whence they flow.

Equally wondrous for me was still another person to person sharing of a story of life beyond intractable pain because I have the benefit of the Blessing of my Boston Scientific Precision Plus SCS, a gem of technology which has aided my quest to be free of pain management medications and realization of the resumption of my career. Surely, God also blessed us with the invention of the pain products my family now manufactures and sells via the company we founded having been inspired through pain by grace. This, too, has begun once again to compound our realization there is a silver lining to the pain ridden dark cloud of agony.

So, we celebrated giving thanks and expressing gratitude this day,
I know I do it almost to annoyance here, and yet,
it is this spirit of gratitude, shared with whomever will read or listen,
which passes the message of "Yes, there is life beyond the grief of pain"
to as many as will have it come before them.
Thank you all for receiving words meant to confer hope....... and through hope, peace.
Prayin for you all,
Mark56

Mark,

Thank you for all the encouragement you have given me. I am a Christian and preach each Sunday am for a dear pastor friend who had a stroke 2.5 years ago. You in a short time have helped my attitude and in 2 weeks hope to be back on the road of narcotics free after my scs revision/battery replacement.

Heart What a Blessing!

Having a friend, Dean, such as you who assumes the pulpit on behalf of a pastor friend who has suffered a stroke..... THAT is surely a walk which is rich with Blessing. If I may, I will assuredly pray you are able to face pain without the pain meds once you have your revision and restoration of the SCS.

The Lord has been so good in this house, leading with a gaze firm upon the path of non-medicated pain management. For me this was the foundation of the path back to career service in my field. In this I am especially grateful.

Thank you so much for sharing your hopes and the scriptural reference, both being especially meaningful to me.
Agape, my friend,
Prayin,
Mark56

Heart

Mark,
Thank you for your Grace-filled words of Thanksgiving, Hope, and a future to look forward to. The hearts you touch along the way are countless and the example you set, not only through words, but also through actions, no doubt help us all to see the Glory there is in continually praising God through the trials AND the triumphs....and constantly lifting others up in prayer and encouragement.
You are a chosen vessel of God in the ministry He has set before you and you have never waivered from it, even during the darkest hour you have faced.

YOU, my dear friend, are a beautiful inspiration, and the truest example of AGAPE ...

Default Lab work tomorrow

Going in for lab work tomorrow for permanent St. Jude implant. I've tried talking myself out of going through with implant to no avail. I keep reading Marks on going struggles and achievements, as well as those of my other new found friends here at Psych Central, and my problems are no greater than those I have been following here.
I keep my focus on God Almighty and not the witness, but to the witness Mark, you have done as The Lord has led you to do. You have shared your on going testimony with others here and have been a faithful witness for The Lord and for that I thank you with my heartfelt Christian love. God bless and keep you my brother in Christ.

Thumbs up Larry

What a friend we have in Jesus, and I am grateful to count you among my friends as well. Without faith, I would have failed at these endeavors, so you are right on target when you look to the Lord for deliverance through the SCS. As for me, I will pray your labs go well, your scheduling is proper and on time on target, and above all, as you yield the decision to prayer you will find guiding peace with the path you ultimately follow.

No matter the path, you have support here for your ultimate outcome,
Prayin,
Mark56z to you my brother in the spirit
