Posterior fusion cervical spine at c6/c7, rods and screws.

A 6 hour surgery or so.

I asked to be alerted if an opening becomes free earlier.

Doc doubled my pain meds and issued a sleep med, because pain prevents sleep. Last night was a bit better.

I so appreciate the prayers and well wishes.

Sorry I am "on the bench" right now.

you just sit on the bench and care for all that you need and want....we each have our time there...don't be sorry for a thing.

Sleep...the must have in all of life healing....drift off my friend to thoughts of last summer on the lake....the kids laughter---the breeze....the smell of the lake and it's mist...drift off into healing...the splash of a turtle...the whip of a fish tail racing the top of water...blue skies....breath into the rest and relax.

Hopefully the meds help my friend.
Just keep in mind we all are pulling for you in our thoughts and prayers that all will result in a quick recovery.

Mark, Mark Mark my dear friend. Please take care of you! I don't want to have to come out there to make sure you do not overdo trying to "get ahead" as you wait no so patiently for the next surgery. Remember we old nutty nurses have ways to MAKE you behave. You know that Rrae and Cleo will tell on you!
