As you know my last stim was in my tummy but the surgeon now want to put the battery in my butt .. Mainly because its nowhere near where I've been infected in the past.
Ok .. Question is .. Butt buzzers, are their drawbacks? Where about a in the butt is it put? CN you not feel it sitting down? |

Hi Karen
I have mine in my left butt just below my belt line. I find it very handy there as Im right handed and when I want to change the controls its easy peasy...... I dont have any negatives about it at all tbh. Ive never had any issues with its placement. ![]() |

Hello there...I have mine in my R butt cheek about two inches below my waist right about in the middle of that cheek. I do not feel it when I sit down. I do feel it when I lean up against something. The only problem I had was when the swelling started to deminish the battery shifted a bit and my unit started to stutter. The rep was able to fix that. It healed well and I can sleep on it no problem.

Hi
My battery is in my right but cheek just about where the back pocket is. My Dr. suggested right side because I am right handed. My friend has had hers about 1 year and her Dr. suggested a relatively new spot for the battery...in her mid back, left side below bra line. She says its very comfortable and easy to charge. Good luck. Sandy Kay |

Lord .. So I am going to have a sticky out belly and a sticky out bum. I need clothes to fit, my tight skinny jeans just ain't going to do it any more.
It's annoying but I k ow it can't be helped, but cancelling the operation was just the end of my tether after a terribly, terribly week. |

I doubt that you'll be 'sticking out' in your bum.
![]() My battery is same as Jackie's - left buttock/hip below the belt line. I'm used to it by now and don't even know it's there, except if I maneuver certain ways in a chair, I might feel it. I can feel it when I put my hand there and press on it, which was a bit 'creepy' to me at first, but I'm used to it by now. Rae ![]() |

Right derriere for me. When it was healing up, it was tender and all that....
Now, so long into it, I just don't think about it, except when I have to charge, then the beep beep beep of my charging unit finds it OK. Assuming surgeon is half way decent, the placement should go well and not be a sticking out problem. A butt buzzer here, Mark56 ![]() |
