Colleen so glad you have got a date.....brilliant news
 I have mine on my left side...Im righthanded also....so I find it much easier to hold the controller over the battery with my left hand and control the controller with my right hand. Plus I much prefer to sleep on my right side (although I mostly sleep on my back) which to me is much more important  .......Im sure you will get it right no matter where it goes, at least you are getting it!!!!!........
