Unhappy What a day !

Hi all hope this finds that most of you are doing ok.
It's been 3 weeks post-op and finally feeling a little more each day like my old self.
Still have my mornings when I get up and feel like I was run over by a Mack truck but by the end of coffee and my stimulator working its magic during my morning ritual I'm usually good to go for the day. Still wearing the binder like I'm supposed to (not happy about that at all drives me nuts) I have a couple of different programs on my stimulator right now and they work really well. I got some news today in the mail from my mother (she lives in south carolina where I grew up from the age of 17 to about 26)
A dear friend of mine has passed away I was really shocked to get the news the other day she was only 61 she was a friend that I met during a very rough patch in my life trying to recover from some really bad habits I had back then. She was always the type of person that could walk by and make you smile even on the worst day of your life. She will be truly missed I'm just thankful I had the chance to have her in my life back then.
Peace be with you now Shirley.

Take care all
will talk to you all soon !

Default Condolences

Prayers that you be comforted in the loss, and all who are saddened by Shirley's passing be lifted up by the Lord to know peace.

Praying all will be well, and that the Mack truck not make its ritual visit to you in mornings to come.

Yup,

Default Friends are such a blessing....

Hi Mark,

I'm sorry for the loss of your dear friend. There probably isn't anything to fill the void of the sadness it brings, other than the many good memories in which you are able to cherish.

God blesses us with the people he brings into our lives, and in your case, Shirley was there for you during such a hard time in your life.

One thing that helps me in coping with grief is the faith and hope in 'knowing' that we will all be re-united with our loved ones in that 'better place'.
May the Lord grant you peace and comfort during this sad time, Mark.

Caring,
Rae

Mark, I am very sorry to hear you've lost such a dear person and friend. Hopefully my late condolence has found you a few days past the worst shock and a few days towards the sorrow lessening. I'm extremely glad to hear that in your sorrow you have the joy of your continued success with the SCS! It's always a joy to hear that others are experiencing the blessings of life, even when (especially when?) they're also experiencing the sorrows of life. Keep up that optimism!

Jen
