Default Back spasms

Honey the spasms in my cervical and lumbar before that thoracic one did give me relief often up to 8 months. But I always had to go back for more each new year and my new PM said to go the SCS route as he wasn't comfortable with the 2012 lumbar one having possibly caused the seizure. It was never proven the dura was leaking, no evidence of it on scans taken and the final letter from the neurosurgeon states the seizure occurred to due acute pain.

My back spasms regularly, it's in spasm now and I've returned to taking the damn Xanax until they make up their mind about putting in a paddle, I wish they would just get on with it. I'm having another nerve block next week I think on the next vertebrae up. On Monday I awoke to no pain on the left side following last weeks nerve block and today it's begun again and is coming back with a vengeance. Hence the Xanax, it numbs my mind and the pain but it's another drug I hate with a passion as you lose days of your life, doing and saying things you don't recall. I probably won't remember typing this tomorrow!

Mum bringing fish n chips tonight at 6.30, as I'm feeling so sad, the lovely lady I met in hospital in December and became fast friends with passed away from her cancer. A life taken far too soon.
