Default Pouch strap

Hey fellow Nevroettes, I have used the pouch thingy with its extra long Velcro strap maybe 3 times since December. It's an absolute pain and not even remotely useful and I find it's best to either slap it on bare skin and tie my dressing gown sash over it or wedge it between my jeans and belt. If I'm upright I can sometimes get 3 green bars, if I'm sitting 2 bars maximum and some days I get the dang orange bar and the beep beep beep. I have found the more pressure on it the less green bars but with my pain at an all time high I just can't sit or stand still long enough to get a quick charge so the beep beep can tip me over the edge sometimes.

No reason the remote can't be the size of something to fit on a key ring along with your house keys etc. Rae and I were only discussing this yesterday. As for whoever designed the pouch/strap setup for the paddle, I wonder if they have ever had to use one? Let alone use one in an uncommon position!!

I use the pouch most nights, but not without difficulty sometimes. Often have to get Rae to help. Part of the awkwardness I think is because of where my unit is situated just behind my left armpit. But with a little fiddling I can usually achieve 3 green bars. I'm hoping when things get back to normal that Rae might have time to make something more appropriate for holding the charge paddle in place.

I too use the pouch thingy with the incredibly long Velcro strap for charging and generally have no problem getting a permanent three lights up... although it can drop a bit when I go swimming

The other night I was in the kitchen, yeah i know and I'm a fella, must have been getting a beer out of the fridge or some other manly type thing, anyway all of a sudden 'beep, beep, beep', checked the unit - three lights, right I'll ignore that, where was I, 'beep, beep, beep', "What the hell is wrong with this thing? I exclaimed to Mrs Wingy. "I doubt there is anything wrong with it she said, now can you stop learning against my washing machine and upsetting the control panel, go and do something useful". Doubt it, I haven't done anything useful in the last 26 years of marriage, don't really want to start changing habits of a lifetime now!

So the moral of my tale is; best keep out of the kitchen to avoid confusion.

Happy days, Wingy
