Lots going on in this hectic house of mine and only have a few minutes to check in. DD19 has been staying here the past few days and has been so helpful to me. Not only did I just finish abx for the sinus infection, I think I am coming down with something. It just doesn't feel like allergies. As you all know, that means an increase of symptoms. (Tremors - fingers are bouncing all over this dang keyboard and I had a bunch of typing to do. and lots of silly sensory stuff).

I have a few errands to run this morning and then home for a good nap.

Have a great day everyone!

Sandy, sorry you had to go through all that.

Barb, Hope you have fun on your shopping spree.

Trish, feel better soon.

Debbie, sorry to hear about the difficulties your fur baby is having.

Kelly, I've done that a couple of times. I call it "scaring the neighbors" when I have to run outside in my sweats and messed up hair. (okay, the run is more of a hobble but you get the idea. )

Sox,

Everyone,

~~~~
been hiding a bit today. My left side is in a lot of pain, and a part of me hopes that someone cancels so I have a chance of seeing this rhumey ASAP instead of waiting until the end of November.
Found out something from my hubby this morn that kinda surprised me. Apparently he has RA. I forgot about the major problems he had with his ankle when he was in retail and on his feet all day. Apparently they figured out that was what his problem was as a teen. Should have put two and two together with the steroid injections he used to have to get in his ankle, but he never mentioned it before.
But understand some stuff a little better, so I'm glad he finally said it.
hey Jenn ... even the best of us can't "add" when it's right in front of us - for me ... I should of said to Dennis that I would love to meet his sister OR write down my name, email, number for him to give to her!
Sandy - sorry to hear about your court-ordeal ... I can't even watch that stuff on TV ... I get all worked up!!
UPDATE:
I'm really fatigued alot since being off of the Copax ... and don't have real zest or motivation to work on stuff ... my left-side and jaw area are more numb now ... and as soon as I FINALLY relax to fall asleep - my whole body does a jerk! I'm awake then, because my heart starts pumping!
trying to re-organize some of my organization ... queen of TOTE city, here! (LOL - it's the closest thing to a crown!!)
if it's raining tomorrow - my road trip is off ... do I go - yes/no yes/no ... la la la
Just got back from the neuro's office for my infusion. His nurse Susan that does the infusions is a riot. And she's working on getting her NP license. She's funny but she has a temper and she gets all riled over somebody else in the office. I hope she stays there cause she's just so much fun and so smart.
I got two new RXs, one for Nuvigil (time released Provigil) and Topamax for these headaches I started having again. I'm supposed to up my dose of antidepressants too and see if it helps. If not, he'll switch me to a different one after a month. I go back in four weeks for the next infusion.
Everybody have a good weekend! I need to try to get at least something done today.
Morning all! Where's everyone? Still sleeping? It's raining here so no plans for outside. Guess I need to go through the mail and put some things away. We were supposed to go see some friends today but it was outside and not happening.
Have a good saturday everyone.
(((Wiz))) Hope the meds help and you start feeling better soon.
(((Sox))) Sorry to hear about you once again being given the RSD diagnosis. I am glad to hear that you had a better morning with DS.
Vonn - The extra fatigue and stuff may be because of what is going on in your body right now as opposed to going off of the C. I could be totally wrong about that and each of us is different. Thanks to my old neuro's assistant who didn't get my new prescription in to the insurance for approval, I took a 2 month vacation and didn't notice any changes in how I felt. I had only been on C for a year. Either way, hang in there and I hope you feel better SOON..
Becky - I hope you continue to improve and the wound heals quickly.
Sandy - Leave it to you to get the one and only objection at the hearing. j/k I do hope things go well for your cousin and they decide in her favor. I think we are going to start seeing more and more denials like this based solely on the economy. It's sad. DBF's sister needed surgery. The ins. co. gave approval, she had the surgery, and then the ins. co. denied payment. She and the dr are fighting it. Scary times.
Barb - I love Borders. They do have great sales. I am on a tight budget so when I go to Borders I always look at their Bargain Book rack. I have picked some up for $1.00 plus I get my Borders rewards and end up paying $0 for some of the books. Many times I go and just sit. It's quite there and they have a "lounge" area where they sell coffee and goodies. I don't buy the coffee and goodies but I do sit there and read. Heck, I could buy a couple of books for what they charge for the drinks/goodies. LOL Hope you had fun yesterday.
Fin - Hope you are feeling better today and also hoping for a cancellation so that you can get in to the rheumy sooner. Also sorry to hear about your DH. Does he take meds for it?
Debbie - Have a great time with DD and her DH. Both DDs are here with me this weekend and last night we had movie night. It was fun and I enjoyed having my girls here.
Hi everyone else. Hope you are doing well.
Not much planned for the day. I was supposed to drive up to see one of my brothers, his wife, and their little one as they are visiting for the weekend. However, I don't want to spread this cold. Also, I can't visit my parents as my dad needs to stay as healthy as possible for his pending surgery. So, I'll be puttering around the house this weekend.
hey Sandy .. my favorite HGTV man (okay, men) have been on since 8am ... and just finished up with Carter!! ... so, not sleeping ... just watching!!
Trish ... I didn't think it was the C ... but, I'm so fatigued and can't get my 'act' together ... and run out of energy ... it could be all the other stuff going on - on top of the MS ... hopefully on Monday I'll learn more about the Lupus, the RA, and mainly the elevated liver enzymes ... if there isn't a med for the Lupus or RA or enzymes ... I hope that I can at least go back on the C - because that actually helped this last year and a half when my body got acclimated to it!! thanks - you are right, tho ... it's all hitting me at once!
UPDATE:
would still like to move up towards Green Bay ... would love an old Vic with a turret ... could turn that into my lighthouse!! and I'd have room for all my crafts and projects and quilting!!
hmm, maybe one of those old towns has some old building with potential!! I love all those renovating shows!!
Hello everyone. I'm fighting overwhelming fatigue today. It's been building up for a few days. All I wanted to do yesterday was climb back into bed and sleep. I was up and down all night but did get to sleep in till 10 AM this morning.
I had to go to the grocery store for a few things and that absolutely wore me out. I hate feeling like this.....it's such a pretty day.....I want to be outside doing something but the thought of it just exhausts me. This combined with my numb legs isn't a nice combination.
I still have a rx to pickup at the drug store and I need to get a gift card for a friend of mine who's coming to dinner Monday night with our old work friends. It's her birthday next Saturday and I know I won't see her again after Monday for a good long while. This will probably have to wait till tomorrow as I just don't see myself venturing out again today.
I read all the posts but just cannot remember everything and I don't want to comment on one or two and leave anybody out......so, to everybody!
Kelly,
I can relate to how you're feeling. Yesterday the neuro said that spring and fall, with the change of the seasons, are the most common time for flare ups. I didn't consider my overwhelming fatigue to be a flare up but I suppose it is. Of course I didn't call the office about it instead just waiting for my infusion day. That frustrates the neuro but if it were something really bad, he knows I would call. (Like vision problems or inability to walk or something.) He knows that I know the signs of PML too and the DH knows what to watch for.
He adjusted my meds and gave me some new RXs that I'll get on Monday if they have them ready at our slow pharmacy. I had to go to the slow one because there was a coupon for the Nuvigil for $50 off.
Feel better soon and don't overdo it. Maybe this will pass for any of us having change of season blues and fatigue after fall sets in for sure.
Vonn, Maybe it's the same thing for you? I hope it isn't lupus or RA but if it is, they do have meds for them. I would think if it's MS too you would just stay on that too? But if it's affecting your liver, you don't want to be on it anyway.
Everybody... have a nice weekend and... ... hugs going out for all.
