Hi everyone! I'm all tuckered out! I drove up to Champaign this morning (50 minute drive -- one way), and went to Borders, Target, bagel shop. I could not handle the thought of going to any other stores even though I wanted to hit a few stores at the mall. So I then treated myself to an early lunch and did stop at an outlet mall on the way home and went to Carter's and Oshkosh.

Basically, I was getting birthday presents and xmas presents for my niece and great niece. Borders was giving teachers 30% off this weekend so I bought a few books for myself (okay several), calendars for xmas presents, and a dvd for my niece. I got home at 2:30, put on my flanned pj's, and laid down until a few minutes ago.

Hoping the sun makes a reappearance tomorrow! Fatigue and increased spasticity along with the "bad" vibrations are also bothering me. I keep wondering if I can really make it until May 2012 (projected retirement) Hugs to all!

Sounds like fall is setting off a flare for many of us! I have been dragging since Thursday. My left leg is numb from the knee down. I seem to be fighting off something... thought it was just a cold or allergies. I have run fever now for 2 days. Today my right arm has a hot red rash that covers about four inches just above my wrist. It feels like a bad sunburn. I hope it behaves until Monday when it will be easier to see my Doc. Not going anywhere near an ER this weekend due to H1N1 being so active locally.

Yesterday I slept most of the day. Today DH and I had to go grocery shopping. We decided to drop by the mall for vitamins at GNC. We ended up doing most of our Christmas shopping at the Mall! We bought 5 Hallmark ornaments and 2 Star Trek calendars... so Barb you weren't the only one stimulating the economy today .

Barb, I admire your determination to not let this stupid disease stop you from doing what you enjoy.

I finally felt a little better this afternoon and did some laundry and shredded some old receipts I had piled up on the desk.

I watched the UGA / LSU football game and thought Georgia was gonna win it there at the end but LSU came back at the last minute. There were some calls made that I didn't agree with but I didn't yell at the TV like DS did.

Typical Saturday night for me......home alone and having frozen pizza for supper. I'm just so exciting.

Need to make this fast as I am supposed to be second job hunting here, then moving on to housework before the family gets back from church.

We went to a steam engine show yesterday. I'm generally not a fan of square dancing, but DH and I agree the tractor square dancing was worth the price of admission for all of us.

Mainly wanted to pop in so ya'll know I'm still around.

Hugs and prayers for all.

Good Morning everyone. Cloudy day here and rain is on the way. My internal weather forecaster tells me so.

Not much going on today. Have to pickup an rx and get a birthday gift but that's about it. Thank goodness the drug store sells gift cards!

I was thinking about Christmas last night and the fact that it's just a couple of months away. This will be the first Christmas I don't have extra $$ to spend on gifts. Last year we didn't buy for each other but sponsored 3 senior citizens. This year I can't even do that! Well, Christmas isn't about the gifts you get or give....it's about family and giving thanks for all that you do have. I always thought the gift giving got a little out of hand and was too commercialized.....and now that I don't have small children to keep happy I can stop feeling guilty!

I almost bought Halloween candy at the grocery store but stopped myself. I know better than to buy it this early! It would all be gone by the 31st and then I'd be in a pickle! I'm one of those people who have to buy mine on Halloween Day . Yeah, I have no willpower.

Ya'll have a nice, peaceful Sunday. I'm going to attempt to give myself a pedicure. That should be interesting since I have a numb right hand and find it hard to bend myself in half!

Morning all! Heading out to mow the lawn and then go through a gazillion meds that need to be put up.

Kitty, I already started on xmas. I bought a bunch of fleece panels and will be making no sew blankets. I love homemade gifts. I bought enough to cover all my family including the boys gf's. Now I just have ornaments to get which are always cheaper and then the boys. It's a low budget xmas here too. Chris graduates college this December so that's my biggest cost.

Have a good Sunday everyone!

Kelly ... don't worry about gifts and such .. I'm so glad that you (and everyone here) are my friends - that's the GREATEST gift of all ... FRIENDSHIP!! and you all keep giving all thru the year!! I look at it that Christmas is everyday we have together!!

I hear you about the candy!! bought some candy corn for some 'kitty-cat' cookies ... but the candy corn is going down and down ... and I haven't started on the cookies yet!! LOL

for TorT ... I plan to be gone ... and usually hang out at someone else's house and watch the goblins and princesses and bundled babies go from house to house .. last year was a bit nippy and rainy ... hopefully this year it won't be so chilly!

UPDATE:
getting all my stuff together for the dr appts tomorrow ... will be outta here at 7 ... off to get gas and clean out my car this afternoon ...

have a great day ... tomorrow night is going to be an awesome game with the Pack playing the Vikings in Minneapolis (that's where old Favre went to play for) ...

GO PACK GO ...

Partly cloudy here and chilly.I have been spending the day getting out fall/winter clothes and putting most of my lighter clothes away. I do a little work, and then sit down and read for awhile or play a computer game. I also changed the linens on my bed, watched Project Runway (love my dvr), and did one load of laundry. I took out some leftover pasta sauce from the freezer so I think I will have rigatoni for dinner. Now it is time for a nap.
