me....still dealing with this back, ugh. Been very busy though, yesterday
I went into the first grade and we made pumpkin pancakes with the kids..
they are so durn cute!

This morning I have to grocery shop(yuck) and then I am back in the
classroom to help for a few hours.

I have two extra kids this afternoon and then I will crash.

Tomorrow night My dh and I are going to see Bill Cosby. Its my dh's birthday choice so I am going. I actually sorta knew Mr. Cosby when I was younger
as my parents played tennis at the same indoor tennis club as him. He was
a lot of fun with us youngsters. He still has a house locally although I
hear he is not so nice now to the working folks around his house.

MIA, well sometimes I think more I read here more I focus on sxs, but I realize not true anyhow!!

Either way, busy as usual, in painful spasms anytime I do a bit more than just work... or even just work does it for me

Trying to focus on ways to help the pain, or numbness or stuff... did yoga this morning to stretch the back out.. felt good, but my body well just terribly in pain.

I see neuro this month, not even sure what to say, as he has been the most supportive neuro, but I think he is at a loss of what I have... but he said when ready he will send me to the Mayo or he mentioned another place... I think it is a MS place.. named after someone who was big on MS stuff... oh can not think of the name....Shapiro maybe....??

anyhow, we can not afford to travel and do all that again, and hubby is not into the idea of getting hopes up for nothing once again.

Either way I am focused on doing healthy things for body, and getting help for sxs as much as possible....

well there si my story and I am sticking to it lol...

morning all...
going to go to the urogyne in a few minutes, just thought I'd check in...slept almost all day yesterday...DH insisted I call either pcp or neuro, and he kept calling me every hour until I did (kept waking me up LOL). Called pcp, she wasn't in, but will call today...I have got to get some energy...I cannot live like this...I ran a couple of errands before collapsing on the couch yesterday morning, and found myself falling asleep waiting for the red lights to change...I've been tired before, but the last two weeks have been ridiculous.

Sarah, I sure wish you could get some reduction in that pain...

Vonn, busy bee!! I don't know how you do it with all your health issues!

Good Morning! I had to break out my flannel nightgown last night it got so cold! It's 61 degrees in the house right now and I'm debating whether or not to turn on the heat. I know it will warm up a little as the day progresses so I'm going to try to tough it out. The cats aren't too happy about that but they have a fur coat!

Today's supposed to be our last day of rain and then the weekend is forecast to be beautiful. High's in the 50's and lows in the 40's (probably upper 30's where I am). The heat will definitely come on then!

I've got to go to the grocery for some things this afternoon. I've put it off as long as I can. Well, that and I was waiting for my SSDI to be deposited! Can't do much damage at the grocery without a little $$. I'm in BIG trouble......Publix has the bags of Fun Size Butterfinger bars buy one get one free!! I'm assuming the free bag has no calories.....right? RIGHT?????

Debbie, Jim slept all day yesterday too. We've brought it up to his doctor but he always says no to adding a new med. Jim is fine during the summer but come fall, he hibernates. We'll bring it up again on the 27th because it just doesn't seem fair does it?

Barb, hope you get some VitD. Ask your doc to run a blood test. We did this last year and found Jim's was low.

Sox, have fun at the show. Cosby is very funny isn't he? How cool your parents played tennis with him. Sad he's turned into a cranky old man though. Conway Twitty got that way before he died. I was at his concert and went out to his bus after the show. He wouldn't even come out to meet us and there was only ten of us at the most. George Jones was out there with his fans but not Conway. Conway wouldn't even pick up the roses we laid at his feet during the concert, just kicked them. Anyway, before we left I knocked on his bedroom window and yelled he better start paying attention to his younger fans because his older ones we're dying off. He died a month later and I felt soooooo bad!

Ok, now that I have told my not so humble story I shall go and hide in a corner. Have a good day everyone.

Sandy, I meant sunshine. My Vitamin D was rather low so now I take 1000 iu's a day, and my test a few weeks ago was normal.

This weather puts me in the mood to make homemade vegetable soup and chili!!

What kinds of cool/cold weather foods do ya'll fix for your families?

Debbie - I really don't do that much ... I don't get everything done on my 'to do' list that I'd like to .. then I start thinking what to do the next day when I go to bed and can't fall asleep ... finally, last night - I took a Tylonel PM at 3a .. uh, just got up a wee bit ago ... now, I'm behind and trying not to dwell on that too much!!

Sox-y - I wish I could say that I'm doing okay .. just take it minute-by-minute, then hour-by-hour .. next thing I know, I want to crash - but can't fall asleep .. then start all over the next day! LOL
