Kelly, I do not qualify for SSDI. We do not have to pay into it as state employees. I have looked at my budget and have figured out that I should be okay. Of course it is hard to figure out the cost a living in the future. Since I paid off all of my credit cards, etc, I am living on a lot less and saving the rest.
Hope you too not feel too down for too long. I had a good cry myself last night.

I've had a headache since before I went to bed last night. I think it's sinuses because it's behind my eyes mostly. Thought it might be a BP headache but I don't think it is. I should probably get off this computer but I'm bored and have already watched enough TV. Hope you feel better soon!

I tend to get dehidration headaches I think my water tabs don't help with it eaither. Sniffing peppermint oil helps a bit though. Hope yours clears soon. xxxxxx

Hi everyone! Doing a quick check in and run. LOL Helped my sister at my mom's this morning, worked on the painting, napped, did a little transcribing, picked up DD18 from a day retreat she was helping at and now we are kicking back for a bit. I want to spend some time with her after she checks her e-mails and FB. LOL

My dad is doing well. He is still in the ICU due to nausea so they are keeping him there a bit longer. They still think he may be able to go home on Monday. We'll see though.

Supermoo - Hope you start feeling better.

Kelly - You'll make the right decision when the time comes.

Barb - Taking the retirement early may be the best thing for you. You just never know. You can then take an easier part time job doing something you really, really enjoy. Or spend your winter months with your adorable niece. Or . . . The list could go on. Think on the positive side. Things happen for a reason.

Sandy - You are so brave to color over highlights. With my luck I would end up with orange hair or something like that. I am sure after a few shampoos the highlights will show through.

wow you scared me when I read clock time changing...I was like heck I did not change it for work today...ahhh but it is next weekend...for Nov. 1st!!

well I had to go back in last night to work, lucky I was scheduled off today and tomorrow. But the double shift is a killer on my spasticity. I slept in till 11am today..wow.. then I have done Yoga yeahhhhhh

Now just chilling, might take a good walk with my 14 year old... we are then going to my parents for dinner.. turkey, scalloped corn, potatoes, and all mmmmm

Tomorrow I am off due to a neuro visit! Not even sure what to say anymore, it is just a 6 month checkup... I have to write notes... I want to make sure he knows of those summer time dizzy spells that had me out... and then how the spasticity is so much worse!! I am thinking of throwing out the MJ word see how he reacts... I know someone who has been telling me how to go about medical MJ, for a card. She has a card as she has fibro, and her son has epilepsy. She suggested I look into it, as even without a dx she thinks for chronic pain and stuff I could get it.. hugsss,sarah

Not doing much today. I got my rough draft essay back from the instructor and need to work on that as it is due tomorrow.

DD18 spent the night last night. I made her homemade chili. She was in heaven with a home cooked meal. LOL Then we watched a "Rachel Getting Married." What an odd movie. DD18 heard it was really good. We were both disappointed and were thankful we only paid $1 to rent it. LOL
