Evening, all. The move went well...DIL and DS had it very well organized. My eldest son brought along some dollies on wheels, which made it go so much easier. Their new apartment is tiny, but cheap, which is important, since he's part time and a student, and she just quit her job But, oh am I sore!
Sandy, hope Jim's feeling a bit better. Isn't it also Cipro that can cause tendon rupture? Let us know how you're all doing. Sounds like your mom is returning to the world
Fin, keep on plugging away at your writing...you get an atta girl!
Barb, hope you're enjoying this beautiful Indian Summer!
Sarah, I get a fibro attack just like you're describing if the massage therapist massages too deeply. The therapist I go to knows not to knead too hard.
It really sounds like you have fibro, hon. Cymbalta will help with neuro pain...I take it instead of gabapentin/neurontin.
Wiz, my fingers are crossed for you!! And hope DS is getting better!!

Well, DH and I have to decide what to have for dinner...we're both kind of tuckered out, but we have to eat...
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!!

Good morning all

Trying to wake up from a cat nap type of night. Managed to only get bursts of sleep in an hour or two intervals. Ugh! Got to get moving later.

Hoping everyone has a good day today.

I know how you feel, Fin. I didn't get much sleep, either.

My update can be found at http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread107564.html.

Needless to day.....I'm all tuckered out!

I also could not sleep last night. We should have all gone to the chat room together. I was up and down all night long and finally gave up around 6:00 this morning. I went to the grocery store at 8:00. Now I am all tuckered out, but I can not fall asleep when I try to nap. I really need to be checked for a sleeping disorder. I don't know why I keep putting it off. Lots of excuses!

I guess I will go and do some reading or grading for class tomorrow.

It is a beautiful day here!

wow it was actually up to 70 degrees yesterday, here in the U.P. WOW!

so after the walk to park, I came home took a tramadol for the back pain, layed out in the sunshine on a lawn chair... for over an hour. relaxing... watching the squirrels chase each other, listening to me wind chimes when a gentle breeze... really felt like summer out there!! wow

well then problem hit, I got up to get ready for church... and got struck with the dizzy spell crap!! at first I thought maybe the tramadol has me a bit off... but no wham bam... on the couch from 330pm till 10pm then willed myself to crawl up to bed dizzy as ever still feeling like vomitting if move too much.

uggggggggg

today woke, feeling pretty good after sleeping... although back is bad still! but coping.. maybe a bit of yoga stretches... and sun is trying to peek out again. Going to take the girls bowling this afternoon since we had to miss it due to my dizzy spell.

still struggling with the pain, but trying to get thru... mind over matter good advice from someone dear! hugsss, sarah

Talked to mom today and she seems to have had a setback. I'm calling the rehab place to see what they think.

They said she is more confused this morning, more in and out. The doctor did come in to see her but they haven't had a chance to read his notes. They told me to call anytime because they know we're so far away.

Oh my gosh, Sandy, you know we are all thinking of you, hon...

Sarah, I pray that you can get some relief

Had a decent night's sleep...the fatigue hasn't bothered me the last two days. Now the stupid spasms are back. Is it better to be sleepy, or better to be awake and hurting? I vote awake and hurting...

DH went to the Bears game today...poor him I went shopping. Found a turkey lifter that is awesome at Bed Bath & Beyond. Also bought decorations for a candle. Then got severe calf spasms & had to get groceries and head home.

I hope that all of you have had a wonderful weekend...it was absolutely beautiful here. I wonder if Virginia or N. Carolina is like this in winter? I could handle low 70s in winter...

Have a wonderful evening, everyone...you're all great!!

Hi everyone! Didn't do too much today. I did work on the painting a bit but ended up laying back down and watching movies on Hulu dot com. Hulu and I have become friends over the past weekend. LOL Some of the movies are older but I had never seen them before.

Sandy - Dang it all! Let's hope this setback is only minor and your mom will be doing better tomorrow.

Debbie - I vote neither. Glad the weekend weather was beautiful for you.

Kelly - You are such a sweetheart for taking care of your neighbors like that. I do hope they are doing well. I hope you have an uneventful night tonight.

Sarah - Do you do needlework or knit? Just wondering. One of my sisters started knitting and she was telling me how her mind just wanders as she's knitting and she loses herself in it. She said it's a great stress reliever. Me - heck no, I don't knit or crochet or do needlepoint. Although at 1 time I loved doing needlepoint and embroidery and it was a great stress reliever.

Hi everyone else! Thinking of you all as well.
