Hello everyone! I slept late this morning....after being up early and then going back to bed! But......it's a miracle I did because my neighbor is having a new roof put on and the workers are making a huge racket! I think there are ten men with nail guns all popping at the same time! I think they'll finish today (by the looks of it) so that's good news.

I talked to Joelle for a little while this morning. It was good to chat with her. I think about calling her all the time and then just never do. We got caught up today and had some laughs. Her kitties were meowing in the background....so cute!

I went to my BIL's brother's visitation yesterday. It was crowded and hot - they only had it for 2 hours! I didn't stay long......I hate the smell of funeral homes. Fresh flowers and antiques. Whenever I walk into a florist that smell hits me. It's not a pleasant smell (to me) and everytime I get a whiff of it I get sad. My house smelled just like that for weeks after my DH died. We had so many plants and flowers. If I had had the presence of mind then I would have requested donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or some other worthwhile charity. I just wasn't thinking about it then.

I read all the previous posts but cannot remember all the news from everyone. So....... for everyone.

Life does some strange twists and turns sometimes. The MS stuff was dragging me down - but I've got a huge smile on my face.

Was floored by an email I received this afternoon. Apparently my hoofing it is starting to pay off. A Bone Fide gallery who does submissions by invite only contacted me! Double checked to make sure they were legit (and they are!). Just waiting to hear back on some additional info I requested. Think I'm gonna faint, but in a good way!

UPDATE:

after my morning update of energy .. I got a phone call from the doctor's office with my blood test results ...

thought I was low on a vitamin ... or something, or nothing ...nope - I have hepatitis ..

don't know how - other than the auto-immune system attacks the liver ..

tomorrow - I have to go back for more blood tests (well, they want more blood!) .. and schedule a CT scan for my abdomen ...

I'm okay - my insides are in knots, etc ... but "I look good" on the outside! LOL

Well, Vonn, I already told you on Facebook that this just isn't right on top of the MS, but dang that does suck. I won't say it isn't fair because it isn't up to us, but that is scary. Keep us posted OK?

Oh my gosh! Let us know when you find out more and try not to worry too much!!!

Oh, goodness, Vonn! Did they tell you which kind? A, B or C? Isn't that contagious? I'm so sorry to hear this. Please let us know what the doctor tells you.

thanks, Kelly, Wiz, Holly ... I'll be fine .. I'm not worried, can't be .. but, now I understand why I was having all these weird sx's ... and now, maybe the SSDI will go thru without question ... I did write a letter to my lawyer .. and then had to open it up before I mailed it to hand-write about the new 'discovery' ...

all things work together for good .. for a reason. at first, I didn't understand the MS - until I made up my mind that I wasn't going to let it hold me back - and I learned a thing or two (and still learning) including patience .. found out who my real friends are (that was was a tough one - especially when I learned how to say 'no') and what a wonderful support group and friends I met online since the MS thanks!! ..

I've been eating good and taking vitamins ... and keeping my attitude in check ... something good will come of all of this!

hopefully it will get me closer to moving back up north and spreading my quilting wings .. and painting wings ... and writing wings ... some more!!

thanks for always listening to me ... will keep you posted what else I find out ... will be having a CT scan too - have to find out where and when!

P.S. Kell .. I'm not sure which letter of the alphabet yet - the blood tests I go in for today are more specified - but, the nurse didn't say if I was contagious .. so, maybe we caught it early enough for treatment ...

I'll be fine .. remember, I still have to move up north, build my lighthouse and make quilts .. love yas!!

Today was a better morning, my youngest got on the bus no problem. Not sure how we backstepped yesterday but all is well with my boy today!

Tonight I am having my mil and my sil(the evil meanie, ugh!) over for
dinner. I have a hard time being around my sil so I am way stressed.
Tomorrow morning my dh will be driving my mil back to fla. He will be
gone about six days , so its just me and my kiddos.

wish me luck tonight, I cant wait til its over!
