to everyone. It does seem to be that time of year for stuff to go wonky.

Been wiped out the past two days. Rested up yesterday, went to a bonfire. It was a blast! Didn't stay as long as we had wanted tho. Been sleeping on and off today.

Well, I caved in to temptation and went and got a pedicure! I had to go to the drug store to pickup an rx and a gift and I passed the nail salon......thought I heard it calling my name.......so I went. I had saved a $20 bill in my wallet for weeks and decided to spend it on myself! It was so relaxing to sit there soaking my feet in warm water then getting my toenails polished. It was a new salon and they were having a special.....pedicure for $15 or mani/pedi for $25. I just wanted the pedi.....she really tried to get me to splurge and get both but I stood my ground. Besides, all I had was the $20 bill. Isn't it amazing how much better something like that can make you feel.

Thanks for the bday wishes Kitty, I showed her and she loved it.

I cancelled going to dinner, Mikayla is still feeling awful, and I feel scratchy throat! so did not want to bring dad the germs. But my mom came by then with a pan of lasagne for me to put in oven, a marinated steak for hubby, (she knows he doesnt like lasagne hehe) and even some garlic bread she has buttered and ready for toaster. Oh and an apple pie for Jasmine as it is her favorite. WHAT a MOM I have, so blessed.

well, gotta run back is hurting sitting here so back to moving about... not looking forward to trying to sleep and then working next few days!!

A cold, rainy day here today. By cold I mean that our high is only going to be in the 50's! I'm not complaining though! I love this weather!

Tonight is the GTG for all the people I used to work with and my friend who's visiting from Miami. I can't wait!! It will be so nice to see them all again.....it's been almost 2 years since I've seen or talked to some of them. We're going to Olive Garden. Hopefully they'll seat us waaaay in the back!

I don't have anything planned today till I go out tonight. I'll probably have to take a Provigil so I can stay awake past 9 PM!

Where's Sox, Barb, Debbie, Sandy and the rest of the gang? Everyone have a good Monday!

hi everyone!! Finally got home from the northwoods about 8 pm last night. The entire weekend was in the mid 40s and rainy...ugh! We decided to close up the cabin in the morning and head east to my DD and her DH's apartment, which we hadn't seen since they moved in after the wedding. They painted and decorated it so cutely!! She was so proud to show us around. Then we watched the 2nd half of the Bears/Lions game and headed home.
I had sxs of another UTI Thursday and Friday, but started chugging the cranberry juice, and the sxs disappeared; so I don't know if it was a true infection or not I've been getting sxs every two months like clockwork!
It sure is nice to be home in my own bed, able to see my fish swimming, and my dishwasher and washer/dryer. Nothing like cabin vacations to make you realize how wonderful you have it!

Kelly, maybe you could bake gifts this year...those type of gifts mean more anyway!! I'm sure there will be sugar/flour on sale over the next couple of months. I always make my mom's cookies and give them away...my kids always complained that there were never any left by Christmas, 'cause I'd given them all away...

Hello dear ones!

I slept past noon today, DS tended the business phone all morning. I'm light headed and a bit woozy so I'm just going to putter around the house today. I'd like to get on the elliptical for awhile and at least get my heart going a bit.

I'll have one of the guys pick up my prescriptions later on. I can start the Topamax later today and the Nuvigil tomorrow. I haven't upped the AD yet because I know it's only going to make me "flat" and that will be just great on top of being blah, lol. I'll be blah and flat Wiz. Anyway, I'm just sitting here and enjoying the sunny day. Everybody enjoy the rest of your Monday.
