I have had a busy day at school. Not much is going on here. Weather was sunny and high sixties here today, but the rest of the week looks chilly (50s) and rainy.

Vibrations are continuing. I especially hate it when I am walking, and it feels like the ground is shaking. It is weird because it does not bother me much when I am teaching, but once I sit or lay down.

Kelly, Hope you are having a good dinner. Eat lots of salad and bread sticks!

I am going to see a play tomorrow night -- Church Basement Ladies. Hope it is good; the actor who played the priest in Mash (forget his name) plays the priest. I think he is 76.

howdy all ... long LONG day ... but, here goes::

YES - back on Copax ... the medication isn't what's doing this ... and the rheumy had 7 (almost 8) viles (big ones, too) of blood drawn ...

go for an ultrasound on my liver this friday at 8AM!! (right here in town) ... then back to see the rheumy on the 20th for follow-up ...

I'm pooped ... and did force myself to pick up my new toy .. but too tired to play with it!!

and on the MALE-front ... no calls ... oh well ..

P.S. ... I didn't get the approval for the Direct Purchase program ... so, I'll be posting all my quilts (and other goodies) on my website .. and get to work!! still have my fingers crossed for the fellowship tho - all things in its own time, right?? and there's a reason for everything!!

You're going to be OK sister Vonn, no matter what. You're strong, a fighter and survivor. I hope the medical tests don't turn up anything too challenging but you will be ok, I just know it. BTW, I'm glad you're back on the Copaxone.

Wow.....what a great time we all had tonight! There were 11 of us there. I was surprised at the turnout!

You know, Barb, out of all the food that was on the table I didn't get one bread stick! I did get salad, though. And split an order of Shrimp Alfredo with a friend. We still didn't eat it all - we were talking too much!

It was so good to see those girls again. We all exchanged numbers and made sure we promised to get together again soon.....and not wait so long. We all got caught up on everyone's lives and news. We were probably way too loud but I really wasn't paying any attention to anyone else in the restaurant! I'm sure the other people there saw the bottles of wine on the tables and attributed it to that! I didn't even have any of it!

Well, I'm pooped but too wound up to go to sleep so I figured I'd check in here and see what was going on. Guess I'll go try to get sleepy by watching some TV. See ya'll tomorrow!

me....Well, the pt is gonna be tough. By last night, I was in so much pain.
I brought a hotwater bottle in a pillow case to the restaurant meeting.
I just sat my hip on it.

I go again tomorrow. I guess its going to get worse before it gets
better, right?

I also see my pcp first thing in the morning to go over my blood tests
and recheck my blood pressure. I know this sounds crazy but I cant
wait to see how much I weigh as I think Ive lost even more weight!

Anyways, Ive got the cable company coming to put digital boxes on every
tv. Im ashamed to admit how many tvs we have so I wont!

Then it is busy , busy for us.

Sorry I didn't check in yesterday, but had some chores that absolutely needed done. Went to the grochery store for some much needed supplies (like coffee ), and did some puttering that I couldn't ignore anymore.

Still in pain during the day, but trying to pace myself and work around it. Haven't been online much because of it, but know I'm thinking of you guys!

It's rainy here so no outside plans again. All the meds are unwrapped and ready to be put away. Then I need to decide on what to make for dinner. We are so darn exciting aren't we? LOL I received my material in the mail yesterday and instead of being pre-cut like I thought it would be, they sent it on a bolt. It may work out better this way since I can cut it to my measurements. I now need a sharp pair of scissors. lol

Taking a break from cleaning this morning. I was a good girl yesterday and did my Neti pot faithfully every 4 to 6 hours. What a difference it made in how I feel this morning. Still somewhat congested but things are really breaking up, far better than with the abx.

DD19 has spent the last couple of nights here. She needed the internet to do her home work. Last night we did laundry. Oh, take that back, we did DD18's laundry. LOL (Ok, I threw mine in and DD19s - what she had here). Still DD18 had the bulk of it. All the washers in dorm are/were broken.

Hoping to get some artwork in today. Even though I have homework to do, I want to get to my calm "sacred" place as it is rejuvenating and helps me refocus.

Morning all. Hugs all around....

DH woke me this morning for a phone call from NIU at about 10:30. I go tomorrow to test for the budget analyst job. I just started taking dopamax last night again, er, I mean Topamax.

I think I'll skip it tonight and just deal with the headache. This morning my mind was thicker than usual and my legs more cement-filled feeling. I took the Newvigil and I hope it makes me feel as good as new. With my insurance discount and a $50 coupon, it was still $183 for 30 pills.

DS picked up the meds at the pharmacy for me and he said the guy looked scared when he told him the price, like he expected him to blow up and rant over the cost. (I already did that on the phone, lol.)

I can mail in the receipt and get 80% of that back. If it works, I can get 3 months for $35. We really pay a lot for our premiums, but they really lose money on me! It seems like half of my meds cost anywhere from $500 to $4000 per month. It's just insane.

We have really cheap cable right now with only one premium box in the living room. We get cable for all the TVs, internet and phone for $79 a month for two years! The service can be bad if there's a problem but I'm saving about $110 a month over what I had before. And I won't tell how many TVs we have either.
