Hi everyone,
I'm going back into the workforce, i got a job at Gymboree it's only part-time and i'm terrified. I had to give up daycare because the parent's hours were drastically cut and it wasn't worth it. My 15 yr old made more money on his part-time job as a bus-boy than i did with daycare. The manager has a child with A.D.D so we at least have being parents of a special needs child in common. It's a nice small group of women, we're all moms so that will be nice. I really couldn't see myself working in retail for a "boss" who is 20 yrs old. I have another job interview on Tuesday evening at Bath and Body Works, so i really hope i get that one. So between the two i'm hoping to get 30 hours. Keep your fingers crossed! It's strange I was terrified of going back to work , what with having a child with ASD is so hard but not having money is harder... it's taken me a long time to get "ready" in my head for this but i'm excited and nervous. Hugs Cindy |
