busy busy days at work! and my back is feeling the work I was doing. my lower back has me worried a bit! just hurts so much, worse when laying down so thru night is worse then when up and about moving. I did a bit of yoga stretches this morning... as I had woke is pain. Tired of this stuff... hate feeling so terrible, hate showing it on my face, I try to be positive... just body wearing down on my soul. now after stretching I feel tingling up and down my spine...

anyhow, today plans, as I am off, Ciara, our 4 year old, hubby and I are going to the movies to see The Princess and the Frog! not much else today.

Soon need to go do our Christmas shopping, hubby and I usually go the two of us out to dinner and shop full force one shot deal. :winky:

Well, hurting to sit around, hoping it will not be too bad in movies... hugss to all, sarah

Good morning everyone! Just checking in real quick as I have lots to do today. I have some art projects to get done, laundry, and getting ready for DD18 to come home tomorrow. YEAH!!!! We brought some stuff home yesterday to make it a little easier. She has 2 finals today - one this morning and one tonight.

I didn't read everyone's posts but just wanted to let you all know I was thinking of you.:grouphug:

Day ten of cold/sinus infection; day four of antibiotics and still no relief. I had to go out, and buy four more boxes of tissues yesterday. As you can tell, I am feeling a tad bit sorry for myself.:rolleyes:

Hello! I'm late getting here but better late than never. :o

Barb, I hope you can kick that sinus infection soon. I know how miserable they can be. I love your new avatar! That's your niece, isn't it?

I don't have much going on today. Laundry and puttering around.

I made baked spaghetti for supper last night and neither DS nor I was hungry so we just never ate! Now, I have supper for tonight. All we have to do is heat it up. BTW.....I did find a bowl with chocolate ice cream in the bottom of it by his bed so I know he got up at some point and had a snack! :p

It's cloudy, drizzly and cool here today. We're supposed to get more rain tonight and tomorrow.....then sunny and cold.

Ya'll have a good day. 11 more days till Christmas! :grouphug:

TwoKidsTwoCats 12-14-2009 12:28 PM

Nothing on my agenda today. I need to go throw a bill in the mail box and that is it :p . I was looking at my MRI CD ... I have not heard from the neuro yet, but it looks like I have a couple of new little friends on board.

Barb, have you tried using a saline nasal spray to loosen gunk up? I can't take decongestants because of heart issues and that stuff, annoying as it is to use, always seems to help clear my nasal passages. I hope you kick this soon...so it doesn't interfere with your Christmas plans.

:grouphug: to everyone... Vonn, I need your energy levels!!

Afternoon all! Got the shovel out this morning and found half of the living room. Even better is the fact that the cyber yard sale heap is growing. :D I hope to spend one hour in each of two more rooms today then at least one hour in one more room this evening. There is a house under this mess and I am determined to find it this week. Love watching the cyber yard sale pile grow too.

Off to tackle the dining room. Have a good one!:grouphug::hug:

Hi everyone,
I've been busy lately, but have read posts...
DH and I bought a used Camry hybrid on Saturday...traded in his Midlife Crisis red BMW roadster...good riddance. I had to kneel on the ground to get out of it:rolleyes: I feel better knowing he's in a bigger, safer car.
Took MIL out to buy gifts for her great-grandkids...now I'm exhausted. She gets so easily distracted, I don't know what she's thinking. So even though I am calmly asking her questions to figure it out, inside my brain is screaming "What is going on here?" She's a sweety, though, so it's worth it to help her out.
My DS34 bought another golden retriever. His 7 yr. old golden seems okay with it so far. The pup's adorable...but watching her yesterday showed me I probably won't be able to take care of a puppy once my furbaby is gone. Just too much bending down, running after them, cleaning up their messes and accidents, etc. It saddens me, but it is what it is, I guess.
Hope everyone has a great week!
