I'm trying to find the spirit to decorate for Christmas today. DH is off work today, so I want to take advantage of having him here to help get stuff done. We are also trying to complete our 2nd bathroom renovation. We are in the home stretch, but keep hitting roadblocks. I will be glad to not have multiple Home Depot runs every week for awhile.

I plan on wrapping some presents today and doing laundry. Then I am going to watch cheesy Christmas movies I have on my dvr. I am still waiting for the antibiotics to kick in and do their job:rolleyes:.

I mopped the floors, got a load of laundry in, put as roast on and plan to clean up the bathroom. Then maybe wrap a few gifts. Mom is doing good but I have to watch her around her meds. She was looking at them today and messed up the weekly pill holder. I am beginning to understand why she had another seizure.

Have a good day everyone.

Wow, Sandy......can you send me some of your energy!!

I've gotten a couple loads of laundry done and cleaned out a desk drawer. Actually threw a bunch of unneeded stuff away. I am really decluttering this house. :)

I was going to go and look at an apartment this morning but got sidetracked. A lady that had come to the yard sale called me about a wooden filing cabinet and credenza that I have. She wanted to know if it was still for sale....it was....so she got her husband and they came over in their truck and bought it! Yea!! Two big pieces of furniture out of my way and more $$ in my savings account!

It's starting to rain here. We're supposed to have rain all night and all day tomorrow. It's only in the 30's here today and won't get much warmer tomorrow. Then, on Monday, it's supposed to be 57. Crazy weather.

Ya'll have a good weekend! :grouphug:

if any of you knew what I did today - I'd be slapped ... oh well!! LOL

I had a GREAT time with my friends up in Green Bay - why the heck did I stay down here so long ... thick-brained ... waiting for the SSDI would of kicked in by now ... OH, how silly I am!

at least in the meantime - I was productive and got the quilt program up and running ... I may also be getting some dirt-track racers supporting the program this spring ... heck, I'll just go ask the track owners!!

I don't know what it is ... I'm so pumped and excited that I'll be closer to friends that WANT to spend time with me ... even tho I'm the ONLY single person in their gatherings ... today was over 8 couples ... and ME ... too funny!!

going to hit the hay ... love you all ... I'm working on my list ... and it keeps growing ... I love volunteering making quilts!! :p

Vonn -- you are such a tease:D! So what did you do?

I finished wrapping presents this morning. Today, I plan on working on my Christmas cards. I think I will be heading home to Ohio next weekend if the weather cooperates. We had heavy rain and thunder storms here all night.

Morning all :)

We're going to be doing round two of trying to get to the bookstore today. One of our favorite authors recently released a new book, and hubby's b-day is coming up next week. The place the store used to be in always got busy this time of year. Who ever thought it was a good idea to change locations and attach it to a mall was insane!

We gave up after almost 30 minutes of trying to find a parking spot. We even looked through the nearby overflow, and even that was full. Crossing fingers we find one today.

Take care everyone. :grouphug::grouphug:

Hi everyone! Things are going well here, so far so good.

We're getting ready to go watch Chris graduate college today. Where did the time go? We're not ready to let him go yet!

well, Barb ... my friends have given up on me 'staying overnight' and trying to convince me not to drive back ... well, I did (again) last night ... the roads were wet ... couldn't tell if they were ice or not ... and by the time I got to Oshkosh - it starting snowing ... I was still on the 4-lane highway .. and then turned off onto Hwy 151 ... 2 lanes ... and, uh, couldn't see the road or the dividing line or the side of the road ... good thing there weren't many cars last night ..

I don't listen well .. but, I love to drive - anywhere, anytime ... was hoping that I would of left the get-together earlier, but, didn't ...

plans today - start working on my Christmas letter, my extra note for my tax clients (I started this about 8 years ago - and my clients love to get their annual letter now) ... and then another letter about the quilt program ....

oh, and one more assignment to do .. then tomorrow or tuesday - take the final ... and keep on packing .. .

almost scared myself yesterday before I left - was taking down all the refrigerator magnets ... :Thats-Funneh:and FOUND the refrigerator ...

have a great day ...
