Hey, Tricia, once you figure out a way to make extra money please let me in on it! I need to do the same thing. I have just enough to eek by each month but nothing else. I worry about emergencies and the unexpected. :(

My neighbor woke me up this morning....she called me at 8 AM to see if I still had any of the stuff I had in my garage sale. :rolleyes: I donated most of it but still have a microwave/convection oven. I would have donated that, too, but it was in the house (in the closet) and I didn't think about it while they were here picking up the other things. She wants to come over and see it so I told her after 3 PM would be fine! Geeze......I wouldn't call anyone at 8 AM unless I knew them very well and knew they would be up. :rolleyes: Oh well, maybe she'll buy it.

I'm going to look at an apartment tomorrow morning. I think DS will go with me if he's up that early. I'm still trying to find a place that I like enough to make the move. I hate thinking about moving but being able to save $300 a month is mandatory for me.

Vonn -- I did not mean to confuse you. My slipping on the ice had nothing to do with my sinus infection. I have been fighting a bad cold for about a week, and it has turned into a secondary infection. I started antibiotics today. I have to take them twice a day for 14 days. I am hoping that my tummy can handle them.

Wiz -- Good luck with the interview! I am sory you caught dh's cold.

I am sitting in my frigid office working on syllabi for next semester. But I am not feeling too motivated. We are having a Christmas potluck in our office at noon. I brought a Mexican dip and chips. Then I have to go to the grocery store this afternoon, take a nap:rolleyes:, and I am going out to dinner with friends.

LOL, Barb ... couldn't help it ... but, now - are you going to take a nap at the grocery store?? LOL I know, I know .. with all the writing I've been doing lately - I have quite the imagination!! :Writting:

going to work on a cute dress for a 6-year old ... made a size 7 .. PLUS, I have to make a 2nd one (but a DIFFERENT color) ... because they are twins!! now to find a children's mannequin .. THAT would help!!

The interview went well (I saw that I "passed" marked next to my name. ;))

I have DH's stinky cold so I'm coughing and sniffling and achey. It usually doesn't last long for me though so maybe I'll feel better tomorrow. I need to dust the house so I can put up decorations. :)

Today Rocky and Daisy ate supper next to each other and it was hilarious. She wanted to eat out of the same dish as him and kept moving her head when he did. Then she'd walk under his tummy to get to the other dish. :D

She got in his litterbox and buried his mess, then when she got in there again later he attacked her! I guess he doesn't want anybody nosing around in his "business", lol. :D

Hi all. Sorry I've been a bit absent been sortin out pc and trying to get on top of chores not easy:( Have done 3 loads of washing so Thats good. :D Just got a few more gifts to sort althoiugh cash is not going far enough at all.
