Good Morning! Beautiful day here and cool!! Finally!! I know it won't last but I'm lovin' it as long as it does.

Nothing much planned for today. I got a slipcover for the loveseat in my bedroom and cannot for the life of me figure out how to put it on! I'm going to have to get DS to help me when he gets up. I tried numerous times last night to put it on but had alot of "help" from the cats....they kept crawling under it and darting in and out around the loveseat. They were the only ones having fun!

Everyone have a good Sunday!

Ok, after seeing the weather and dew points, Jim has decided to stay home.

I don't blame him one bit. I'd probably do the same!

I'm interested in the Nuvigil now. I was thinking it wouldn't be any better for me because it is just a tweak of Provigil, but it sounds like you find it works differently. I actually gave up on Provigil because it just stopped working - even at really high doses. I've been taking Ritalin which works sometimes, but sometimes it really makes my heart race.

How long have you been on Nuvigil and do you take it every day or just as needed? Any bad side effects?

We're here! I am so busy this week getting ready for my reunion. Too much to do and I am only one person. Why do I do this to myself????

I need to put a futon together, plant my mums and trim the yard. Then tomorrow is deep cleaning. Wednesday is grocery shopping. Thursday is making my dips and food that I can ahead of time and bringing the tables and chairs out to the yard. Friday is clean again, mow and finish any food prep.

Hi...I've been AWOL the last few days...busy busy busy...

Barb, I don't like hearing how uncomfortable you feel...you should ask for something to relieve the pain, at least in the evening/night. Take care of yourself, dear

Sandy, hope the shower was fun...Jim was smart in staying in...it was warm!!

Fin, hope you feel a good "fit" with the new doc/NP...

Wiz, keep on going, girl...take a little candy bar or something to get your blood sugar up...you amaze me still!!

Quite a busy weekend...DH asked his softball buddies over after their game Saturday, so we cleaned up a bit and I baked brownies and cookies and made a layered mexican dip for them before I took off and took the inlaws up to their great granddaughter's birthday party.
We were there about an hour and my FIL wanted to leave. "She hasn't opened her gifts yet," so he said okay. Then when she was done, he said "Let's leave now". "But we haven't sung happy birthday yet." Okay...sigh...
As soon as they ate their cake, they were up and ready to go On the way out, he said, "I don't want to be late for my vodka gimlet." THAT was why he was in a hurry to leave...he goes to the bar in their facility on the way to the dining room to get a drink.
He doesn't see these kids more than twice a year, and he's ready to leave after an hour? I could have smacked him upside the head if I had the courage I drove 1 1/2 hours one way for an hour and a half visit...grrrr...
Then yesterday we went to the pool for about 3 hours. We went home, ate and then the inlaws called to tell us their med trays were empty. So over he goes to do that...neighbors popped in to visit, but since DH wasn't there, I told them we'd come visit them...we stayed until I couldn't sit still anymore, and went home...
RLS has been driving me crazy the last two nights since going off of Requip. I have to stick it out though. I get up for a couple of hours until they calm down. So the good night's sleep is still elusive

Hope all of you have a wonderful Monday...smile!

I am sitting at my desk and eating lunch -- Jimmy John's turkey sub. I just had a grad student come in and say -- Oh I 'm sorry you are eating. Then she started to discuss her research paper topic with me. I asked her if she could come in during my office hours or after class today. She seemed really startled and then said she would come in tomorrow morning during my office hours. I do not mind meeting with students whenever I am in my office as long as I am not eating. Or at least she could have asked if I minded talking to her while having my lunch. Then I probably would have said yes. My office door was only opened two inches. I have been her since 8:00 and needed a little down time. I probably sound like an old grump.

I seem to be doing a bit better. I still have not heard from my neuro's office. I may try to call again when my class is over (3:30). I am going to try reducing the baclofen to 20 mg today. I already took 10 mg this morning, and will take another 10 mg late in the afternoon.

Hello everyone!

Beautiful day here.....82 degrees and 53% humidity. Perfect! I know it won't last but I'm lovin' it while it's here.

DS bought a stand to put the television on in the living room. It's more of a chest looking thing with drawers and four cubby holes to put the DVD, cable box, Wii, etc. There are two deep drawers on either side at the bottom. It's a really pretty piece of furniture. The store delivered it this morning and I had them set it in the middle of the room. DS will have to put all the electronics into it when he gets home. Right now all three cats are inspecting it.....I think it's gonna pass!

I have a doctor's appointment in the morning. I can't eat before I go because they're doing a blood workup. I'm curious to know what my Vitamin D levels are. I'm going to ask for a complete workup including thyroid. He's going to be surprised because I've lost 41# since my last visit with him. I'm hoping I can come off the HBP med I've been on.

Everybody have a good Tuesday!
