Hi everyone else! Thinking of you as well.

My busy time for work is over. It was tough as during it I had strep!:eek: YUCK! And, of course, I couldn't go see my dad during that time.:( I was able to visit yesterday, which was great, and will be going over this afternoon.

In our family we pick names for gift giving. Traditionally, we are to make the gifts so DDs and I have been planning and need to get cracking on it so they are done in time. I'll be getting the supplies either today or tomorrow. We're doing ornament pinatas for the kids, fiesta decorations as they are always having people over for all sorts of parties, and a I'm making a limbo game as they love playing games and it will be fun for them. AND, Christmas is not that far off!:eek::D Guess what I'll be doing Christmas Eve. :D

DH went hunting again. he will be gone 4 or 5 days this time. He is staying with his mom in another state and she is thrilled beyond belief to have her baby boy home. She is trying to convince him to move in with her. Her husband died last year and she is so lonely.

Snowy, and sunny and cold at the same time here. I have tons of silly things to entertain me while he is gone.

checking in late today! I feel some better today, enough so, I went shopping for groceries, gas and poinsettias. I still am pretty fatigued and actually feel like I have a cold coming on. :(

Not much else going on for now. I was motivated to clean a closet this morning. Still trying to figure out why I had 4 empty shoe boxes sitting on a shelf :D.

I am spending my day doing nothing. lazy lay about day. it really ran my batteries down to be out that late.

Bread baking day for me today. I let my supply in the freezer get down to nothing.

I'm looking online for a good, inexpensive humidifier for the house. It gets so dry in here with the heat on. Every time I touch one of the cats I shock them...and me! My skin suffers so this time of year, too. Seems like I go through lotion by the gallon.

I ordered some little cat toys for the cats for christmas and they arrived yesterday. I made the mistake of opening the box in the living room and you can guess what happened next. They all three smelled the catnip that was in the toys! I had to give them their toys early! I had planned on putting them in their stockings but that wouldn't have worked, either. I'm sure they would have torn them down trying to get to the catnip! Anyway, all three had a blast chasing their little toys all over the house. Skidding and sliding on the wood floors.....so cute! Wish I had a video camera. After about an hour they were all in a heap on the floor.....completely exhausted.

I made a new recipe last night. Beef and Broccoli Lo Mein. It was really, really good. DS liked it so much he took the remainder of it for lunch today! He asked me if I wanted any for myself but I lied and said "no, just take the rest of it" because I knew he could eat every bit of it. I wish now I had saved just a tiny bit for me. :o I'm going to have to make it again soon. Very easy recipe and it tastes even better than the restaurant kind. Probably because it doesn't have all that MSG in it.

Time for another cup of coffee and then to get started with my day. Got my tissue paper yesterday so I can "wrap" or "bag" the Christmas gifts I have already purchased.

Cold and sunny in these here parts too. Day two of using only the ecigs, and getting the normal break up of all the congestion caused by regular smoking. Ah, the fun of this part -- LOL!!!!

But slowly starting to feel better. It was nice to wake up with a little more breath this morn. Think this is definitely the way to go. Over time, will be reducing the amount of nicotine in the cartridge until free. But already starting to see some benefits. :)

Good morning! Jim has therapy today. I may drop him off and run to the store for a few things. We are supposed to get some icy weather later and possibly a big snow storm this weekend. Ugh, hate this.

Jenn, what brand did you buy? We've tried two and they weren't so good.
