Hello everybody! :)

I've been a busy bee today. Trying to keep my mind off my crazy, drunken walking. My balance just seems to be so sporadic these days. One day I seem much better (1 step forward) then the next I seem worse (two steps back). :(

I made a batch of hamburger/sandwich buns and now I'm waiting for them to cool off enough for me to freeze them. I'm now baking Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Raisin cookies. Yum......they smell really good. The Oatmeal Raisin cookies I baked just a couple of days ago are all gone. I can't blame it entirely on DS.....I helped a little! :o

Temps here are supposed to plummet this next week with highs only in the low 40's. The first day of winter isn't until 12/21! We're still in Fall. I can't remember it ever being this cold this early.

Everyone stay warm. Enjoy your Sunday afternoon! :grouphug:

hey Kelly - our High will be around 28 today and most of this week .. it sorta hit me funny what you said! :D

like Kelly said - "stay warm" ... and from me, "keep your footies on!"

24 degrees here right now. Our highs are only suppose to be in the mid 20s all week. It also seems early to me for such low temperatures. Thai food was yummy -- leftovers for tomorrow. I am an Italian sausage and mushroom lasagna for dinner. Lasagna freezes pretty well so that is why I like to make it.

Hi everyone...been busy shopping with DH and we decorated the tree last night. Today DH assembled our small village on the hearth...it always looks so beautiful.

Dej, you are an angel sent by God...what a great way to channel the "energy" you were feeling to help others. Bless you, dear.
I get frustrated by my DH, also. He's a dear, but after 36 years you'd think he'd pay attention occasionally when I say, "Oooh I really love this..."
Instead he goes on a shopping bender...last year I got 4...count 'em...4 watches, and 3 bras (VS kind...I think they're for him, not me:rolleyes:). He always seems to think, 'if one's good, three will be great.' One year I got 4 sweaters. Another year, 3-4 slinky pjs...oh well, he means well...:o

I have a new sx that's bothering me...a part of my cheek from my nose to my cheekbone has been tingling for over a day, and now it occasionally feels like bugs are crawling on it. This is what happened when I got my first real sx...on my large toe. Now all my toes are numb...I don't want this to happen to my face.:(

Well, DH went to do more shopping while I rest...so I guess I should get to that;) Have a great evening, all...

Debbie, call DH and ask him to pick up Vit B complex. It has like three of the B's in it. I once had that happen and the doctor said it was Bell's Palsy. I took the B's and was fine within a few days. Not saying that's what it is with you but the Vit B's work well for nerve issues.

Sandy - I've been taking B12 ... is Vit B Complex better, then??

remember to toast your tootsies ... and stay warm!!:D

I am paying the price today for standing in line with the little old ladies. my back is incredibly angry!

I taught my children years ago that if you are feeling sorry for yourself or feel like you are against the world, go volunteer somewhere. its amazing what happens when you see those who are truly against the world, and have no food to eat, or shoes to wear, or those who are burning their furniture to stay warm. I used to have my children donate a used toy for every new toy they got a Christmas. If they preferred to keep the old toy, they would donate the new toy instead. We were incredibly blessed, and had more than we knew what to do with. Get a new coat? please donate the old one! Thats the way I was raised. Back in the day, mom used to be a good person. Before her mental illness really took her over, and she became all twisted and mean. I miss her as much as if she had died sometimes. Now she is just an angry bitter woman who doesnt know better. I think i do this stuff in her spirit.

so ouch on the couch is the word of the day. its snowing and im suffering for it.

Have a great day all. :grouphug:

Well, I really don't know. All I do know is that's what I was told to take for the numbness and tingling. I also had pain in the cheeck/ear area. Whatever was in the complex worked for me.

It's not snowing here but it's sure cold! I know you folks up "'nort" think I'm crazy but a high of 38 is pretty cold for GA weather.

I ordered some tissue paper (a pkg of like 500 sheets!) and I hope it arrives in today's mail. I'd love to get started on my Christmas wrapping....or bagging....whatever you call it when you use gift bags! Doubtful that I'll get to put them out because the cats love to gnaw on the handles and the name tags. Last year Tigger managed to actually climb into one of the bags and adopted it as his sleeping spot!

I hope everyone here is doing well and had a nice weekend. :grouphug: Three more weeks till Christmas! :)

Vonn.....MrsD is a great person to ask if you have any questions about supplements. She really knows her stuff! :)

Edit to add: Not that you don't know your stuff, Sandy! ;) After I read the post it didn't sound right....or nice! :o
