Good Morning. I am back in my office again. It feels nice and cool in my office today. AC is working! I just have one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I will be out of here by 12:15. I usually come in early (8:00) so I can most of my prep work done by my 11:00 class. Then I plan on going to the grocery store, and I have pt this afternoon.

Debbie. I hope that they can help your sister.

Has anyone heard from Sandy. She hasn't been on here much lately. I know in her last few posts she said that Jim has been having major problems with spasticity. Sandy, if you are reading this -- sending out major hugs to you and Jim.

Holly -- I have always wanted to be a "go with the flow" kind of person. I am still trying to plan how I can do that.

Have a good day, Barb!

Holly, Sarah......thanks for checking in. I was thinking about both of you and hoping you were okay.

Debbie, I hope things work out with your sis. I have a hard time, too, with balancing what's best for me and what's best for everyone else. I tend to just do what benefits everyone else and worry about myself later.....I think all of us Mom's do that. It's just engrained in us.

I'm going to dinner tonight with a couple of friends I used to work with. We're going to Olive Garden. I can't wait! It will be just the three of us so we'll be able to catch up on everyone's news. Last time we all went to dinner together there was a group of about twelve of us and you just couldn't hold or hear a conversation.

Time to get productive with my day. I slept a little late this morning so the day seems half over already!

Hello everyone. We're OK, just been busy this week. I am painting two rooms so my time is short. Jim's legs are still dancing but not as bad as before. Good days, bad days I guess. But I did perk him up with Bears/Packers tickets and even managed to get main floor Hawk tickets. He's in heaven now.

Hope all is going well for everyone. I haven't read all the posts but will come back when I am done painting.

Well played yet another 18 holes of golf this morning.. we go nice and early.. no one practically there at 645am.... so quiet and relaxing!! body is hurting.. but oh well, it could be without the golfing too!!

might go get my hair dyed professionally, never have before.. I usually do a kit myself!!

Tomorrow going to take all the girls to Bay Beach again, went last month.. amusement park but really cheap... 25 cents a ticket and all rides are 1 or 2 tickets! in Green Bay!

Afternoon all...another beautiful late summer day here

So glad you checked in, Sandy...we worry when we don't hear from you!! Glad you got to treat Jim to some games this fall...

Sarah, you are playing lots of golf!! Wow! It is great that you enjoy it so much!! Glad you checked in also...

Haven't heard from sis or her fam today...I went back to bed this morning instead of mowing the lawn...just so darn tired. And the grumpies are back again. I've tried various cognitive and spritual techniques to try to overcome it, but the grumpies are winning lately. Poor DH...never knows if Jekyll or Hyde is going to welcome him home from work

Well, I have to take MIL shopping for a birthday and shower gift...and she pulled her hearing aid apart again...I should have spoken up when the sales person recommended these for her...they're just too complicated for someone with Altzheimer's...

Hope all of you have a great Tuesday...

Just breezing through waving at everyone!

I ran a few errands Monday and Tuesday... came out of the heat and crashed for a couple of hours each time.

Oldest son started his college classes today. He's having lots of trouble with his back (he has kyphosis caused by a spine disorder) after carrying around a full backpack and walking around campus to classes. Does he ever listen to his mom about exercises and strength training?... nope!

Mine started back yesterday. I'm up to my ears in beginning of the year paperwork / forms times 2. I am totally NOT ready for summer to be over, but I am ready for cooler weather.

I also have to fill out forms to take them out of school for vacation in a couple of weeks. We are going to go out West to take Grandma's ashes to be with Grandpa at Lake Tahoe. We are going to fly into San Francisco, spend a couple days there and then drive over the mountains to Reno. We will see the Donner Pass, Lake Tahoe, Virginia City, and Pyramid Lake. They will learn while having fun!

If they don't behave, we can leave them at Alcatraz, right? Just kidding. That was actually the 13 year old's suggestion for what to do with the 10 year old.

Went to the neuro today and that drains me. I only had to wait an hour after my appt this time. He is usually so backed up that it is often much longer. I have waited up to 3 hours a couple of times.

DH asked him how many patients he sees. He said he has over 1500 MS patients. How's that for demand? He never rushes you out the door, though. He must be the calmest person on earth to know how far behind he is getting but never short changing anyone or rushing them along.

I had some blood work done and will have a new MRI (brain and c-spine) after vacation. It's been 2 years since he looked at the holes in my brain, so it's time. I've been stable, so it doesn't seem likely that there will be any new ones.

I'm exhausted, so I'm heading to bed.

Hey Barb - If you figure out a way to plan out "going with the flow" let me know. That makes far too much sense to me.

Knock, knock. Anybody home?

Well I've sort of been following ya'll on this new thread but don't ask me any question about what I've read.

So what is new with me? I'm still working part time, involved in different organizations, and got the knitting needles going. Still losing the battle in my veggie garden. I hope to take two personal enrichment classes this fall through my local college. One class is learning to use common computer programs at work and the other is a basic accounting class. I love my job but need a better paycheck and that isn't going to happen where I'm at now. Ideally I'd like to keep the job I have now and add a second one to life's mix. I keep kicking around the idea of going after a college degree too. I just can't figure out what I want to do. DD was to head off to college this fall but is unhappily waiting now until spring. DS is battling illness when he wishes he could be out enjoy his last week of freedom before school starts. DH doesn't change.

So that is what's going on with me. Still alive and kickin'. I'll try to check in more often.

Have a good one.

Holly, I am still working on that.

So it is day 3 of classes. I couldn't sleep last night so today should be fun. I just had three typos in the above sentence. Hopefully, I will make sense in class.
