Great picture, Sandy! Isn't it amazing how our kids grow and grow and grow! Both of mine are over 6' tall.

The weather here has been mild. I wish it would last but the forecast for the weekend is highs in the 40's. I suppose that's tolerable. :p At least it's not raining or snowing.

I've gotten quite a bit done today. A friend of mine from CA called me this morning and I was on the phone with her for quite a while. After we hung up I did some laundry and got some rooms tidied up. I need to buy a lottery ticket because the Mega Millions drawing is up to 330 million!! I'd like just a tiny little smidgen of that. :rolleyes:

Loved the picture Sandy! Has Nik finished school? Went up to Champaign today and bought bagels, books, and boots. I hope that now I have a decent pair of snow boots it means it will not snow anymore. Going into school tomorrow to work on class prep.

I'll be part time, but my first two weeks of training are full time with a rotating schedule. So it's been a bit on the fun side, lol. Learning a lot, but it's been taking a bit out of me. Nervous and nerve racked, that's me -- LOL! But so far it's been cool.

Still no checks today. its getting silly. Even if they do arrive, I shall be dragging my money over to the new place. Perhaps I will use my last check to write a large sum over. I hate this game.

Jack is doing well. He played half the night. I asked DH yesterday how many cans of prescription food we had left, and he said "all of them!" I said WTH?! He said he was waiting for Jack to feel better before we switched him over to the new stuff. :eek: um, excuse me?! the prescription food is like medicine, we need to feed it to him as part of his healing process. I stacked all the normal cat food up and out of the way, and put out only prescription cans.

I didnt win the lottery. I did buy one ticket for it tho. If the universe meant for me to win, it would have happened on one ticket, not 40. So...I guess I wont be buying a new car or home anytime soon.

Its going to start snowing soon, and I am off to see the new neuro in town. Pray for me! the last guy in this clinic was extremely dismissive and well...rude!

There has been alot of traffic up and down our little (dead-end) street and I'm sure it's people looking at the house next door for sale. I'm excited to eventually have new neighbors......hope they're nice! :p

I never got around to buying a ticket. And to think, I probably would have won if I had just gotten a ticket.:) I went into school this morning and finished my last syllabus. I am not really mentally ready to start classes again, but at least I have all of my syllabi ready to go. Most of my colleagues have not done theirs yet. The secretary told me;).

Things have been crazy here..I had hoped it would slow down a bit after
the holidays but things just havent. :( My dd12 broke her finger last night..
just waiting for the call back from the doc...I think it will have to stay
splinted for a couple of weeks.

Between everyday stuff, giving the oldest rides to eastern mass, dogsitting
my bff's dog..etc etc, life is moving just too fast!:mad:

Im going in soon to the my ds's second grade...all those funny little kids
usually cheer me up so Im hoping it will work this time!:)
