Good Morning! It's sunny here but still so cold. The ice is slowly melting. I hope the mail comes today. We haven't had mail since last Saturday! Good thing I wasn't waiting for anything!

DS went to work this morning. He went yesterday, too, but not till later on in the day. I was getting a little grouchy having to share my space all day every day. Yikes! I've turned into a hermit! I think we were both getting on each others nerves.

Time for a shower and then I'm turning off all noise producing items and reading my book in peace!! ;)

Just a quick note. I saw my nurse practitioner this afternoon, and she said the little lump is an epidermal cyst. They can remove it if I want them to or if it bothers me. She said to call back if it gets bigger, bothers me, or gets red. I guess they can get infected. So all is well.

Phew! That's a relief. I'm so glad you got it checked out.

Morning all. Jim has an orthopedic appointment today and then maybe we'll go grab a bite to eat at Mongo's. Still reeling from all the Illinois stuff going on and our bill not passing. We are seriously considering moving because I am not sure I want to make Jim wait close to two years or more to pass our bill again, moving would be easier. We'll see, we are still in it until Nik graduates and we go to Colorado for vacation to see how things are there. Lou tells me he will do his best to get the new bill through but the reality is it could take some time.

Hope everyone has a great Friday.

TGIF!!!

I thought I would use yellow font since it might remind us all of sunshine. Snow is in the forecast for the next seven days. They are discussing the possibility of another nasty storm Monday into Tuesday. I remember that we were all discussing how bad last winter was, but this one has been even worse. It seems like the ground has been snow covered since Thanksgiving. At least I have Monday off (MLK day). Hope you all have a good weekend!

Good Morning! :) Finally it will get into the 40's today so maybe this ice and slush will melt. School has been closed all week. There is a big broo-ha-ha because the school system wants to hold classes on Monday (MLK day - which was supposed to be a holiday) to help makeup for the lost days. It's always something......

I've had to close all the blinds by the computer in my sunroom because of the glare off the ice from the sun. It's blinding! But I'm not complaining.

I gave DS a list so he can stop at the grocery store before he comes home this afternoon. He's literally eaten everything in the house! I'm not getting out in the ice. Not sure what the grocery store parking lot is like and I do not want to fall. I have a hard enough time remaining upright on dry, flat ground. Don't need to try and balance on ice! :o

Ya'll have a good Friday! :grouphug:

Good morning, Everyone!

Barb - I couldn't agree with you more! Even though I don't work outside the home, Friday's still are important to me. I love the weekends as DBF is home and we hang out together and many times work on projects.:p

Kelly - I had to crack up about your hermit comment. I've been feeling that way as of late. This dang flare is doing me in. I just don't go anywhere right now and it is driving me crazy!!!

Sandy - Good luck to Jim at his dr. appt. You could always move here. Of course, with all the events over the past year . . . Maybe not. LOL I think they said that the dispensaries should be up and running by April.

Jackie - Hope you are feeling better today!

Fin - I missed the post about your job. In any case, I hope it all goes well and works out great for you.

Hi everyone else! I hope you are doing well.

Not up to too much today. My big plans are taking a shower and then slapping some paint on canvas. I have spend all week "designing" and decided yesterday that I can't work that way. I just need to get some paint down and take it from there. hahaha

I hope you all have a great day!:grouphug:

Be careful about moving to an area that has recently adopted this, as sometimes they repeal this stuff and then you are far away from friends and family and still dont have the law you wanted. Go to an area that has been stable with it, and is settled. CO is a great choice.

im grouchy. Tired, have too much to do, and Jack the cat went back on pain shots for a couple of days. I got a new chair that is wonderful for my back, but none of the cats will let me sit in it. Everytime I head towards it, there is a sleeping kitty in it. Since Jack has been so sick I dont have the heart to remove him. I feel like Archie Bunker. MY chair! The things I do for those cats. Lily is quite sad that Jack has not been playing, and she is starting to sulk, and pout. I have spent extra time playng with her, but I may have to break down and get another animal.

Me, too! Panda has adopted my new recliner as hers! If I do happen to get to sit in it she's right there waiting so that when I get up she can curl up in a pre-warmed seat! She's so cute, though, and had such a hard life before coming inside to live with us (or to let us live with her) that I don't have the heart to move her! :o
