Glad to hear you all made it through some of the storms. :hug: Crazy weather you all are having.:eek:

I spend yesterday working on a painting. Today I am going to pick up DD19 and take her to the store to get some food. There are some pretty good sales on some non-perishable items, like soup, and some fruits/veggies. She's really in to nutrition and mostly wants fresh fruit and veggies. She needs some things from Target as well so we're going there as well. This will be the highlight of my day. :rolleyes::p j/k I am looking forward to spending time with her.

The sun has returned but it's cooler today so....yea!! I'm ready for some true Fall weather.

I desperately need to go to the grocery store but don't know if I'll have use of the car this afternoon. DS usually plays soccer on Thursday nights. Might have to wait till Friday to do my shopping.

I hope everyone here is okay after all the storms we had the last couple of days. Looked like the entire eastern half of the U.S. got hit.

Barb ... that is SO cute ... gosh - she had an answer (well, sorta off subject) ... BUT, she had an answer .. and totally forgot that she didn't want to go to school!

It's FRIDAY!!!! Even though I don't work full-time or even part-time, there is still something exciting about Fridays.:p

I don't think we are ever going to make it out of the 90's. It's almost November and were still going to hit in the 90's today. :mad::( At least the mornings are nice and once the sun sets it starts cooling down quickly.

Today I am just chilling. Yesterday was spent running around town with no nap!:eek: DD19 is thrilled to have food as is her roommate. We brought flowers over to my dad as a get well present. He was in the hospital for a couple of days. We met up with DD20 who took us out to lunch and she came with us for the rest of the shopping. All in all, it was a great day and so enjoyed being with my girls. I am so lucky to have such wonderful daughters who actually enjoy hanging out with their mom. :D

Good Morning! Beautiful Fall day here. Cool and clear.

I went grocery shopping yesterday once DS got home. I'm SO glad I didn't wait for tonight to go. Friday nights at the grocery store are crowded and crazy. I leisurely strolled through the store and enjoyed my time out of the house.

I've got a banana bread cooking right now. I had several bananas that were just too ripe to eat and I didn't want to waste them. I've also got a loaf of Honey Wheat bread baking in my bread machine. It smells so good. I'm planning on trying a new recipe for Sesame Chicken tonight. It's a low-fat version that doesn't include frying the chicken pieces. It sounds good so I'm going to have a go at making it.

I've got to reply to some emails, pay some bills and finish reading the current Nora Roberts book I'm engrossed in. I have another one to start after I finish this one.

Zombie feeling here too. I took two Baclofen at bedtime. They sure helped the spasms, but I feel like I can not wake up. I slept from 10pm until 6am, then from 9am until 12:30pm! Hope I sleep tonight!

Our weather has been beautiful since the storms on Tuesday. Woke up this morning and it was 38 and we went to a high of 58. At least the house has maintained 72 the last 24 hours without AC or heat.

No big weekend plans that I know of. I've put off shopping all week, so will probably drag DH out tomorrow for groceries. We have a new organic grocery, Earth Fare. Think I may go check them out.

been having upper leg 'issues' (left side only)... as tho someone is sitting on my lap and won't get off!! :eek:

called the neuro - will try Gabapentin 300 mg - 2x a day ..

in the meantime!!! the car is packed - I'm so organized, it's not funny!! it was packed within 1/2 hour .. then I laid down for a nap (because of the leg - and took a Tramadol .. but, that didn't even take the edge off) ...

EXCITED to spend time amongst the living tomorrow!!

hoping to sell alot :Rich:... and have more stuff to make - and I don't even have to buy anything!! LOL

but, going to start a NEW project ... working with clay - that's my winter endeavor ... :p
