Sorry! It was really, really nice. But......it must come to an end. It's cool and drizzly here today. Thursday's high will be in the 40's. So, it definitely was a teaser!

Kelly, I was just going to say..brace yourself, more cold on the way by Wednesday/Thursday! It's dark and drizzly here...good hot cocoa and reading weather.

My lazy bone has found me today... I do not want to do anything. I need a nap, a glass of wine, a Dr. Pepper...something. But I'm too lazy to even get up and do any of those. Yep it's lazy, not fatigue!

I'm hoping/praying all you northern tier folks stay warm and safe this week. It's been years since I experienced that kind of extreme blizzard conditions!

Hi all...last day of January!! Couldn't come soon enough! I love the fact that the sun is setting later than 5 pm now. Makes my mood upbeat just thinking about spring!!

Barb, hope you at least still lurk. You know we're all singing the winter blues...we're all suffering cabin fever, fatigue, spasms, etc. and that doesn't make for the happiest camper, even one without stupid diseases to deal with. Just take care of yourself...

Hope everyone is braced for the latest storm...DD26, who lives in central Wis., is prayiing our blizzard creeps north just a bit she loves her snow days...and so do her students...

I took MIL grocery shoppiing today. I had to write down her new great grandchild's name on a piece of paper for her (the baby girl was born Saturday). She couldn't remember the name...even though the baby has her name as a middle name We had a good time shopping anyway. She's such a sweetie. I've been so blessed to have such wonderful inlaws!!

Well, I got my gas can filled for the snow plow, cleaned up the yard from puppy's "gifts" left on the snow so there's no surprises in the spring when all of the snow melts. I stocked up on food and drink, so I'm ready for the blizzard. Some reports state we're supposed to get 30", but most of the weather folks are pooh-poohing that guess. It'll be interesting on Wednesday; I have a 5pm appointment with the neurologist, and I'm not sure I'll be able to drive the 50 miles in blowing snow...we'll see.

its snowing! then again, that is nothing new.

im getting prepped for 2 days of snow fall. I am cooking, cleaning and getting ready to lose power maybe. We have a generator, but the stove isnt on the circuit. I have the microwave, and other stuff, but nothing is as good as an oven cooked meal.

No snow here but it's cool, cloudy and rainy. I'm not complaining!

Talked to my sister last night and she wants to come for a visit so she's checking air fare prices! Yea!! Probably will try to come here in March....but I told her April will be warmer. She's in VA right now.

Hi everyone! Quick check in this morning. It's my busy time for work right now so I've been busy with that. Just taking a break right now.

DD20 is coming over to help me with house cleaning. Her car broke and so we are doing a trade - $40 for her car if she sweeps, mops, vacuums, and helps with other chores. We're having company over for dinner tonight and DBF wasn't able to get it all done last night. So DD20 and I made a deal!

This afternoon, it's off to drs. appts. UGH! So not looking forward to that.
