It was silly, goofy, and somewhat funny.

Dej - I am so glad to hear that your DS is finally coming around. That is awesome! He doesn't deserve to be treated the way he was.

Weave - I hope you find something soon. Resumes can be tricky and the job market is so competitive right now that you want to make sure yours stands out. Good luck in your job search.

Hi everyone else!

Today . . . I am tearing my room apart. Something smells funky in there and I have to find it. I am so scare the cat brought something in and it died in there. I'm thinking a lizard because it doesn't smell like mammal decay. It's a sweet but nasty smell. I just can't figure it out. Last night I put my nice clean jammies on and I could smell it on them. UGH! So, the search begins. I'm taking everything out of my amoire and DBF is going to move it to see if something is underneath it. Since the cat tore up the underneath of my box spring, we are going to look in there as well. This is going to be a process. Wish us luck!

Have a great day, everyone!
Trish, I'm trying to think what movie it was where the wife lost their apt. in a divorce, and put seafood in the curtain rods! That would take forever to figure out where the stink was coming from, lol!

Hello all! Been doing a lot of painting lately (new guestroom & bath).

DD and two littlest grandsons are here for the weekend. One is a snuggly 6 week old. I prolly held him for, I duhno, maybe 3-4 hours yesterday!!!

The other is almost 2. He burst into my bedroom just after I pulled on some black pantyhose this morning. You should have seen him look me over! I finally convinced him they were "socks" and he was okay with that.

I don't post here often cuz it overwhelms me to think how I can respond to everyone's previous postings. Just know that I wish you well with your critters and your health!

Hi Twink! I'm so glad you posted here. Don't feel bad about not commenting on everyone's post. I read through them all but when I go to post it all escapes me! So, I just post about what I've been up to. Everyone knows and understands how it is. That's why I'm so thankful for the "Thanks" button. At least I can click on that and show that I read the post!

I agree! I want to comment on so many things, and then I hit the REPLY button and ...my mind goes...was it sally or sue that had a bad day? was it jane or amelia that went to the MD? was it kitty or sassy that didnt feel good? so, I hope all of you know that when I ready your struggles I say a little prayer then and there, because I know by the time I get to the REPLY button I cant remember which one had what.

Jack woke feeling some better. I woke in pain. there is a tremendous low pressure system over us and wow oh wow low pressure systems hurt me.

my son stayed the weekend, and we had a blast. we got to talk, and he was able to express himself clearly and without tears. This awful girl really broke his heart. He was able to express things about her that he can see more clearly now that he is away from her. it was her b/d on Saturday so of course the woun was fresh all over again. I am glad he chose to come up and hang out. I paid for his gas to help him out. He fussed, but its a little something I can do to help.

my kuerig coffee maker is on the fritz. it only gives half the amount of water its supposed to give. peice of junk! if it dies I will replace it with that cuisinart thing.

Lily the cat is happy to have her wrestling buddy back. I am going to lay down and watch movies all day. my back is screaming mad!

Twinkletoes, glad to see you visit! I have those issues too, I read and can't remember what I read 1/2 the time. Or I miss interpret something... like now, I thought Dejibo said she was going to lay on the couch and watch wrestling... thought whuuutt?...I had to go back and read her last sentence again.

Stay safe out there today! Powerful storms and winds moving across many of us from midwest to the east coast today. It's suppose to move through my area around noon.

Pam, it's supposed to be in my area later tonight. It's always after dark, it seems. I hate night storms.

Lord, please give me patience! Landlord is back again priming the fence for painting. He's also doing something with a drill but I'm not sure what. Radio is blasting that same political talk show. I have to remind myself that he is a kind man and he's trying to take care of this property. Things could be so very different.....he could be one of those landlords that doesn't take care of his tenants. He may be a little irksome - like when he wants to talk forever at 8:30 AM and I haven't even had my first cup of coffee! I'll take that kind of problem anyday! He even offered to come and take the feral cats in for spay and neuter if he can get his traps back from the person he loaned them to. Now that would be awesome!

Woke up this morning coughing so much It made me throw up. So yes, I am going to the doctor's. I canceled my first class and I will be leaving in a few minutes.

I am dealing with an academic misconduct issue between a boyfriend and girlfriend. I did not realize they were dating. When I grading yesterday, I noticed that one paper was almost identical to the other. Sentence structure and paragraph structures are identical. One just basically rewrote the other's paper. The only thing that is realy different is their concluding paragraphs. The guy that is involved is one of three candidates for student body president. I hate dealing with cheating. It is so stressful!!!

Be safe everyone!!! We had storms throughout the night.

Good morning, Everyone!

Twink - Glad to see you post. No worries on forgetting, just post what you want. We don't mind.

Well, nothing under the amoire. We didn't do the bed because DBF had to work on his bike and whatever it is makes my sinuses go crazy. Of course, DBF can't smell anything and I can so can DD20. I had to get out of there. I opened all the windows. I changed all the bedding, which I do once a week, but this time I took off the feather mattress pad to see if that helps. I must have looked so funny sniffing around the mattress and box spring. It doesn't seem to be coming from either of them. But here again, I need to lift the box spring and check in there. DD20 and I are going to Target or some store to get full zippered mattress & box spring covers and she's going to help me lift the mattress and box spring. I hope I find it. I bought a small air purifier that I thought was working great. But when we had to close up the windows, the smell was there again.

I hope you all have a great day!

Ear infection, fluid behind both ears, sinus infection, and probable bronchitis. Gave me a z pac and robitssin with codeine. I am at school now as I did not want to miss both classes. Will then go pick up prescriptions and go home.
