I wish someone would rescue me...seriously from of these strange pains and feelings. :( Argh I wish someone sometme would say AHA I've found the problem

I KNOW what your talking about. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with Terrible FEAR. I have all these Morbid thoughts and I am just terrified. I don't just lay there in the dark, I get up, make myself a nice cup of tea and have a little snack. I think in the middle of the night sometimes our blood sugar drops and wakes us up. A snack usually helps alot. Turn on the tv, but that isn't really all that great, or put a movie on, one you like and that gave you a good feeling. I have been watching "The Station Agent" for the past couple days. It's a very soothing and just a Nice movie. Of course you can always get on-line too. An hour on-line usually takes my mind off whatever was scaring me. But just laying there in the dark doesn't really help me. I may be awake at those times an hour and a half to 3 hours. Just don't Freak out on yourself. A few more hours of sleep will come and wipe away all those fears and a couple Tylenol and a heating pad on whatever hurts.

I wish I could say "AHA I've found the problem" for your condition, I can't but I have for mine, it took some time but I found it. I'd like to invite all of you ladies to read through Dogtorj's website, there is a lot of info there, I just recently found the remedy for my condition which isn't included in his information, its fructose malabsorption, which fits in to what he's saying, I passed on the information to him, but he's real busy right now. Give it a look you might find something useful. :winky:

OK, I HOPE this isn't the "Thread Killer". http://www.sheknows.com/graphics/emoticons/rolling.gif

I want to talk about FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE CAKES!! http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...t/viking37.gif

I have 2 recipes that I have to find before I can continue BUT have any of you ever had one?? The one I make most often is chocolatey but very light. I specially bought a 7 inch springform pan for this cake, perfect size for the amount made. If using a regular size you may need to triple the recipe. There IS another one that uses heavy cream but I'll have to find that one. I'll be back. ;) http://forums.govteen.com/images/smilies/eekout.gif

OK, here is the LIGHT one: http://www.rp-l.com/show/gourmetimag...urlesscake.jpg http://www.truckingboards.com/trucki...lies/shock.gif I know, looks really rich and heavy but it's not. Here's how you make it. I wish I had a better picture to show you the consistency of it but I don't:

8 oz. bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
6 Tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces + extra to butter the pan
6 large eggs, separated
1/2 cup sugar

Heavy whipping cream for topping
PREPARATION:

Preheat oven to 275°F and place rack in the center of the oven. Butter a 9-inch springflorm pan.

1. Place the chopped chocolate and butter in a large, microwave safe bowl and microwave on high in 30-second increments.
Stir after each increment, continuing until the chocolate is completely melted. Allow to cool slightly, then whisk in the egg yolks.

2. Place the whites in a clean bowl and beat to soft peaks. Gradually add the sugar, beating until stiff and glossy.

3. Whisk 1/4 of the whites into the chocolate mixture to lighten it.

4. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold the chocolate into the rest of the whites.

5. Pour it into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

6. Bake 40 to 50 minutes. The cake will have pulled away from the side of the pan and will be just set in the center.

7. Allow to cool.

To serve:
Dust the top of the cake with confectioners' sugar and serve.

No Dawn. This cake doesn't have all that many calories, really. Here is a better pic of what it looks like:

Just think of it as a diet cake. I won't tell anyone. :o :p

I'm still trying to find the XRated version of this. The one that makes you wet yourself when you taste it. ;)
