what is everyone doing this weekend?

it is still hot and dry here in Florida....we soooo need some of that rain.
My stream out back no longer has any water in it and so all the birds have started hanging out at the lake instead. I really miss having the water there.

now dont leave me hanging on here too long for a rescue pleeez:Help:

Like you Cheri...we soooooo are in need of rain. I am watering this grass seed constantly. And scrubbing out a very busy bird bath! :D

Busy birds? You betcha. Our birds are eating NINE oranges a day --- that's if I replace then fast enough. Nine oranges at the current price :eek:
And the hungry little orioles are also eating about 1/3 of a jar of grape jelly.

And the rose breasted grosbeaks and others empty all the sun flower seed feeders three times a day.

I have to stop typing and get busy. Guess what I'm going to do :o

ok... gotta try this again before i lose my indoor voice...
it's been a while since anyone posted and i didn't want to see wren out there flappin those little wings and going nowhere....

hope you got the birdies fed... we used to have little yellow finches, cardinals, and robins around here....but now all i see are big ugly crows!

got a lot of my garden planted- my face feels like it got some sun even thought it was slightly overcast today.
Still thinking on what to do or get mom for mothers day tomorrow.
We might go till their garden for them or one of my boys will.
I usually do a big planter with some heliotrope, impatiens and fushias for their front porch.

Hello there, everyone.

We had a nice pretty day here in this state of Texas. I wasn't out in it much. Saturday in my lazy day, since I don't have those loving grandkids around. When I was on the phone with our son he told me the kids were giving he and his wife a hard time, especially the oldest (which I don't watch here regulary because she is in school.) LOL

Chemar, I would send the rain if I could, so I will pray for you.

Our son has invited us over to their house, tommorow after church services, but I really don't want to eat there with her family and me BIG family. I so told him we would come over after lunch.

Well I need to get ready for bed so I will be bright for tomorrow. Will be back, hopefully tomorrow night to save some one.
