Frank, just pick up a pencil and doodle. It doesn't have to be anything. Just have fun with it. For me it is quite relaxing. BTW - the 1st one is made up of nothing but dots. While it takes a while to do, I end up getting so in to that I relax some and think of nothing else but placing dots on the paper. Great way to take your mind off of things.:D

As far as my breathing problems go, it's due to spasticity, won't allow my diaphragm to fully expand. :Hum: I never had a flair, don't know what that would be like!! I'm Chronic Progressive. Just a steady decline for me. :holysheep:

Oh well!!! That's life I guess but it's really starting to grate on my nerves, this thing they call living!!! :icon_twisted:

Sharon :)

Sharon - Sorry I missed this. Welcome to NT.

Fin - I missed the race yesterday. Carl Edwards won, right? I caught the end where the commentators were saying their "goodbyes.":( Next weekend instead of going to the race, we're going camping (sissy camping - motorhome) and fishing so we'll miss that one too.

TK, Yep. Edwards won yesterday. Dale Jr. is still 4th in the point standings thankfully. :)

As to the painting, yep - I've had days like those. One of which actually turned out better when I fixed it. Some of them are still "what in the world is that?" So totally understand.

Barb, Hope you enjoy the beautiful day.

Another update on Renee's hubby. His enzymes were up higher yesterday. He's hanging in there and so is Renee. He may be in the hospital for several weeks at this point. :(

I spoke with Renee's mom yesterday. I'll probably speak with her again today and talk her head off as Renee so sweetly told her. Haha!

I'll update more later when I talk to Renee or her mom.

Renee - Ok, amping up the prayers for you and your family and sending lots of cyber:hug::hug::hug::hug:'s.

Sandy - Thank you so much for updating us and being such a good friend to Renne. You're awesome.

hey folks....Frank glad you are going to doc!

Hubby's levels actually came down a little today!!! not alot but maybe we are turning the corner, they started him on TPN (IV nutrition) today besides his regular IV since it has been 5 days since he has eaten or drank anything. Still doc says maybe by friday he can have some clear liquids depending on if his levels keep going down or not then we still have the surgery to contend with.

thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers...although I don't have time to respond to everyone I really appreciate them! And Sandy is the bestest friend ever!

CayoKay 04-07-2008 07:29 PM
