Good morning everyone! Well, at least it's still morning here. LOL

Aly - Glad DH got a chance to see what was happening with the car. Now he knows huh?

Sandy - Sending hugs to Jim. It's so hard on us when we lose a parent.

Vonn - You busy bee. What activities do you have planned for today.

Fin - That is great news about your knee. Yes, a celebration was in order. I am, however, sorry you had such a rough night. Here's some more coffee . . .

Hi Blues Girl - Good to see you. Yes, I need to tear my self away from here too. I have real work to do.

Mommy - Sorry little one gave you a hard time and is driving you nuts. Subways in Miami would be nice. But, Subway sandwiches are good too. LOL

~~~~~~
Finally made it to my parents for coffee this morning. I haven't been there in quite a while. I never made it over there last week. I just got home and I have dictation to transcribe so while it is downloading I thought I'd pop in here real quick.
I'll type and then nap and then . . . Who knows what this afternoon will bring.
Hope everyone has a great day!
morning ... uh, afternoon ... LOL
well, Tricia ... I finished up 7 more UFOs last night (you may get one!, other than Sandy - everyone got one ... I'm working on a set for Sandy&Jim!)
let's see - going to class here shortly for an hour to read, then work on projects .. I find patterns I like - then change them, so .. I'm having my coffee and figuring out how to use up some FQs to make quilt tops for my program ... AND for the craft show in March!
did I tell you?? I've been asked to participate in a craft show with my goodies - and I don't have to be there ... so, I'm making towels, pillowcases, and runners for the show ...
in the meantime - school and taxes ... clean out the back room to make room for my knitting machine - so I can make slippers for everyone for Christmas!
keep smiling!!
Renee ~ That made me think of the movie TORA, TORA, TORA! LOL
Von ~ You're quite the busy little bee!! That's great news about the craft show! Congrats!!
Jenn ~ Hope the coffee did it's trick. I didn't sleep well last night either. My behind is dragging today!
Tricia ~ Sounds like you had a great morning!
Sandy ~ How's the laundry coming along??? lmao I'm going to start mine right after this post. I don't know which one of us hates laundry the most!!
Not much going on with me right now. Just getting further behind on all of the house junk. Woohoooo!!! I'm off to do my laundry!! I'll check in with you girls later this evening. Hope everyone's having a good day!
Vonn - Yippeeee! That is great news about the crafts show. I am so happy for you. Please post pictures when you get some of the things done. I would love to see them.
Ummmm Blues Girl and Sandy - I dread laundry!!!!! I have to go to the laundry room which is up the hill so I need to carry it up the hill with wobbly unsteady legs or up the stairs. By the time I get there I'm exhausted and sometimes turn around and carry it all back down the hill. Then I got a little cart to wheel it up there per the advice from my mom. She's a smart cookie, that one. But lately, I have DDs carry it to the car and we drive it up there. DBF, bless his sweet heart, hooked up the w/d at his rental house and we did it there last weekend. That was really nice.
Tara, I came back! LOL I did pack one suitcase, Jim's urostomy stuff and Beta shots. I washed the pilows and have a load of towels started.
TK, your DBF sounds like a keeper. Now if you could get him to come and get it, wash it and bring it back...lol
Yall I must have some serious cog fog going cause I don't understand half the holy sheep I read on here today........
First Vonn-what is a UFO? I mean I know what a real UFO is but what are youuu talking about......
Tara- It took me 10 minutes to get the Tora Tora Tora! reference.....aren't you too young to remember that movie? LOL P.S. A friend of mine has one of the original Japanese Zero's that were used in that movie.
Sandy-make it past my hubby? Now I am curious!!
Mailman came empty handed today bad mailman!
And now possibly something from Fin...I'm gonna pee my pants waiting for that man to deliver something! LOL
thanks, NaeNae and Finny... just got home... looooooooong day!
and all it was was filling out another FORM, while this guy asked SILLY questions, like "Why do you want to live here?" and "Have you ever engaged in any criminal conduct?"
um, do traffic violations count?
and I wanna live here because land and homebuilding are less expensive than where I came from!
actual answers, "No, Sir!" and "To fulfill my dream of having a little farm in the country."
and they questioned me and my husband separately, lol, to see if we gave the same answers?
I'm so tired I could sleep for a WEEK!
