Sending good vibes to you....sorry you have to deal with this! Hang in there  |
It is against the law in any state to bury your husband alive, right? Thought so...want me to come do it for ya!? They would never believe that I of all people would do such a thing!!
You know my X did the same thing...I left on Sunday, he went to the bank Monday...I had over 30000 in that account I deposited from a sale the Friday before. You hang in there girl, you'll be fine, remember, sometimes people can hold you back and you never reach your potential. Maybe its time you reach yours...just thinking in my own full of holes brain here. Haven't a clue why I even thought of it. |
HENCE THE EXPRESSION!!!
SEPARATE BANK ACCOUNTS Is Greenjeans still married to this guy?? Sorry to pry, just curious. My husband's first wife did this to him. They were married 3 months. He came home from the army to find the locks changed, she took all the furniture, and drained the bank accounts. He was all of 25 or 26, and had no clue. Her father was mortified and tried to speak to my husband telling him, "my daughter is nuts to do this". Seemed she had another guy on the side. And they were married only 3 months. Can you believe this?? Do you know how long it took my husband TO TRUST ANYONE? well, we've been married 28 years so obviously I won his trust. |
the "flood-flies" are hatching in the jungle!
flood flies are giant beachball-sized termite nests which produce SWARMS of insects after the first big rains here. yesterday, the Rainy Season commenced in our part of Belize, and we had to act quickly! Initiating Operation Huddle-Mode: "This is Flood-Fly Control: Do you read?" "Roger, FF Control, now preparing for second wave of invasion." "Commencing countdown, mossie nets fully engaged..." "Initiate sequence - 'Secure All Gaps' now" "FFC, we're good to go!" http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/6629/dscn5520ko0.jpg Untie under-layer of net http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/8103/dscn5533kt3.jpg Outer layer of mossie-netting secured. :D life in the jungle is SUCH an adventure !! |

and NO, he wouldn't get the light, puppy-dog eyes or not... see him curled up in the sateen sheets, with our kitty? lol, he wasn't leavin' the bed for NUFFIN, muffin !! yes, bamboo grows here. a friend built that gorgeous four-poster bamboo bed for us. and I bought the mossie nets at Bed Bath & Beyond, four years ago - before I came here... but AFTER visiting Belize, so I knew I would NEED them, in order to achieve restful sleep. we slept like ANGELS last night, while flying critters landed all over the net. this morning, all we had to do was sweep up all the debris... and be happy that our house is made of concrete blocks. the termites won't find that very appetizing. :p:D:p |
here's one family's adventure with the yearly invasions:
http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/1...charleypq8.jpg Of course everyone in the Wolf family remembered the time the flood flies invaded their jungle camp. It was in the early Spring as the calendar year of months would typically reflect. The family had just hunkered down during another torrential rainstorm. The type of storm when the rain sounds like bullets rick-a-shaying off the zinc roof, when the wind howls and the trees appear to be close to snapping from it’s force, and lightening strikes are occurring one after another. And then just as quick as the storm is upon you, the clouds blow away and the sun reappears. This particular day as the storm departed, suddenly there were a handful of winged flies gathering on the wire mesh screen on the porch. At first Charley didn’t think twice about the grouping. Indeed he simply went back to reoccupying his hammock and reading his latest subscription to National Geographic magazine that had just arrived on schedule, two and a half months late. http://www.belizemagazine.com/editio...harleywolf.htm :D:eek::D |
Kay .. what about your kitty?.. saw her/him in the window ... and your critters??? do the ducks eat those sort of bugs??
