Olivia had a good time at preschool, and Dayton and I were able to get all of his homeschooling done by the time we had to go get her YAY!!! It seriously helps to be able to work uninterrupted. I cooked dinner for us and the neighbors...both Iraq War vets who hate to cook so I cook for them at least once a week!

Hubby has been in bed since he got home with a migraine, I have some sort of poopy thing (ACK!)

Hubby gets results of his sleep study tomorrow! Thats good trust me!

Sunday for Easter the neighbors want us and the neighbors across the street to have a party, I get to cook of course! LOL

Sorry been MIA....I was travelling last week for work...while away was pretty darn sick...vomitting and all..ugggg but had a nice time at classes and relaxing just ME at a hotel....(but would have wished for better health during to enjoy better hehe)

OMG, I am so sore in my right arm. That darn kitchen floor took me all day to scrub! It was really filthy. It has these grooves in it that collect dirt. Yuck! In between I cleaned the kitchen fan, shelf, patio doors and all the appliances. I was on a roll to kill myself huh?

I spoke with my mother today and let's just say it didn't go well. She once again accused me of speaking to her neurosurgeon. She thinks me and my sister called him and said she wasn't ready to go back to work or drive. This surgery did a doozy on her mentally and it has us concerned. She once again told me that I am giving her a headache and even asked me if that is why I called? It's getting so hard to not be upset with her right now. I feel like she was friendly when she needed money but now that she doesn't she is being down right rude. She is doing the same thing to my sister. She even went so far as to say that her friends kids treat her better and that she wants to go into a nursing home rather than live with us. Ummm, not a problem with that right now. lol

She did see the eye surgeon and he thinks the eye problems will heal on their own which is good and said she could drive when the surgeon released her. The eye surgeon wants to see her in four months to re-check her eyes and if she hasn't improved he will prescribe eyeglasses to help.

well, together, they're enough to scare off full-grown adult HUMANS, lol!

put it this way, Janie... I haven't even gotten close enough to do a "well-check" on the new baby yet.

most of my "viewing fun" today was about watching the pecking order, made manifest.

all the ducks and chickens are naturally curious about the new baby, but Gandalf and Glinda don't let ANYONE near little Connor!

they lower their heads, (the threat position) and CHARGE at all who DARE to approach.

and Momma Gwen? well, she actually BIT my toes when I tried to hand-feed lettuce to the baby!

oddly enough, the three (Larry, Curly, & Mo) that I hatched in the incubator are on some sort of "species recognition sufferance" program, and are allowed to travel with the geese, but even THEY are not allowed near their (naturally hatched) sibling.

lol, sometimes I feel like the Margaret Mead of the goose world, as I sit and watch, and ponder over their interactions.

I PITY any wildcat who plans to munch upon a baby under the guidance of these zealous guard geese!
