I think when I get into the apartment, and get the sewing machine and table set up ... and paint some stuff ... I won't need another job!!

in fact - this is what I am planning on doing .. setting up the corporation ... BUT, I'm not going to draw a salary! I will be doing volunteer work for the corporation ... and setting up items online to sell via the corporation - I'm just doing the grunt work ... and I KNOW that the corp will be buying the fabric and supplies to make items ...

I'll be good .. it'll work out - I was thinking of a part-time job ... but just standing over 5 minutes, my hips/thighs ... and legs are just in pain - worse than regular pain that I have all the time ...

so, staying put will be best ...

OH - I decided to include a landline phone line with my internet service - and both will be installed on Wednesday ... so I'll be hanging out at the library or here at my friend's to stay abreast of school and what yous are up to till I get my own going ... sound like a plan??

I'm going to a wedding this afternoon (about an hour away) ... so, time to get the plaster mixed and my corset ready ... catch you all maybe later tonight or tomorrow .. have a great day ..

Just discovered this thread. I'm not doing much today. Anxiously awaiting my 14 yo DS's arrival back from a three week trip to the South Pacific. I've made zucchini bread, sliced peppers from my garden and listening to the CNN special about Diana on TV. I'm also waiting around to see if I get that tax stimulus check today That would be nice. I need to make it to the shower now!

I am feeling better (mentally) today than I have in a little while...still dealing with all the other carp though. Today we are hanging out, both of us on the computers in front of the a/c lol It's just too hot to be outside! Later this evening dh is taking me out for dinner gonna go to Saltgrass for steak and shrimp...my favorite place to eat!

suzyqz_2007, It's hot here in Ohio too. The a/c has been on since about the last 3 days. "It's not the heat, it's the humidity" here. It's a bit cooler now, only 82* but by Tues it will be 90. (I just turned off the a/c for awhile) Now & later this evening I'll be on the computerhiding from the humity. My DH is working outa town & my 2 kids are 'doing there own thing' (my son walked out saying "I'll be home about 12:00am").
My SIL & DDs were in town from Virginia (this is Ohio) so I haven't been on for awhile.
I'll talk to you all later. Most likely in an hour to see if theres anything new, cuz I am BORED.

the screen keeps flicking off, zzzzzzzzzzzzzztttt !!

and there's no Mac-ish stuff in this entire country, so I'm either gonna have to wait for parts, or switch to a PC (ewwwww) after 20 years of solely-Macking.

ah well, I've had this puppy for a loooooooooong time, and she's served me well...

I'm UP online right now, as I'm backing everything up whilst I still can.

Suzy -- Saltgrass sounds great! I am envious. Do you ever get to Austin? My little sis lives near there -- Buda. They have taken me to a restaurant out in the hills a few times called Saltlick. Great barbecue! And good peach cobbler.

barb02, My dd & I are going to my SIL's so we can all go to beach. We plan to go on the Ohio turnpike then the Pennsylvania turnpike thru W. Virginia then into Virginia.

hey all...

well today proved for the first time, that someday I might not be able to keep working..ugggggg

I was struggling all morning..(humid out) balance, weakness hard to lift anything..and even if lifted things..almost drop them...droppsys...and legs and arms feeling like they didnt want to work....

anyhow, took a nap after home..and sunny now...less humidity..and feeling a bit better....just get frustrated not being dxed....
