Fin, I looked at your artwork and it's very good! There are quite a few really talented people here that have posted their artwork in their albums.

We're not doing much today - it's so bloomin' hot.

I think we may cook some chicken on the grill later this evening. Other than that it's looking like a quiet day. I hope everyone has a nice, relaxing Sunday. :)

Well, gotta get Jim up so you guys have a good day OK? The boys are cooking on the grill for Jim's b-day. They are doing it early but it's because they will both be back at college on his b-day.

Tootles!

All I can say is DBF and I really need to go to Chicago, the City of Kisses. LOL

I haven't read through all the posts. I am just taking a break from work; my busy time.

I hope you all have a good day!

Thanks you guys! It's actually the 16th, the day Elvis died. We haven't decided what we're going to do since it's just the two of us. Hmmm, thinking, thinking...

oh good ... didn't miss Jim's birthday yet!! I remember where I was on that BIG day in 1977 .. just graduated from high school, living on my own, working in downtown GB ... making $2.10/hour!!

thanks, Barb ... I will try to slow down my mind ...

oh - Kay ... when I read "barbie" .. I thought of BARBIE .... the doll! LOL will have to ask Koala ... I thought it was 'bar-bee' ...

AAAHHHHHHH Calgon take me away!!!!!

Ever have your teen DD ask you for help then while you're helping she yells "I know just hold this part mom" like 'just shush up & do what I say, don't try to help me' (but remember she asked). She's complaining that her bedroom isn't big enough to hold everything that she has ASKED FOR. I remember her wanting her computer table but now she claims it's too big & doesn't fit. Her dad keeps buying her whatever she wants. If she wants a new smaller dresser, he will likely get it. She called me up to her room about 5 times to help her put together a DVD holder, I have to keep stopping typing. If you are of that age...do you remember the Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want"? I keep thinking of that, but don't litterall say it cuz it'll just start a fight.
I noticed my SIL just doesn't say much when her girls start arguing about stuff so I think I might do that...to keep my blood pressure down.
(My son isn't like that, but yours might be.)
