LOL, Renee, brain overload. I'm that way today too. Can't keep up with all this new stuff.

Well, I am cat sitting DBF's cat and am just loving her. The carpet goes in the rental today and so I have the kitty. She's going to stay with me until the weekend as she still has to stay inside due to her injuries. We decided it would be best because of the "fumes" from the new carpet.

I just love having her here despite her scratching on things she shouldn't, litter box and cat food smell. She can only eat canned food until her jaw heals.

Insight - she was hit by a car a couple of months ago and DBF couldn't get her out from under a neighbors car where she was hiding after the "hit." He went to find her in the a.m. and she was gone. She disappeared for 5 days and then showed back up on Sunday morning. Hurting, but alive. She broke her lower jaw and skull. Additionally, she lost the vision in one of her eyes. She's still healing and has to undergo surgery at the end of the month to remove the metal that was holding her lower jaw together. Quite amazing she is still alive. The vet is amazed that she made it.

How's everyone doing today?

Aww Tricia, poor kitty kitty. I'm so glad she's doing better. Cats are amazingly resilient. You're so sweet to let her hang out with you while they are installing the carpet. Hope all goes well with her follow up surgery.

It's cold and cloudy here today. Weather that I LOVE!! I know, I'm strange!!

Everybody have a good day!!

You are not strange. It is rare that we get those cold and cloudy days. I love them too. I am sure those in Seattle would not agree with us though. LOL.

Cats are resilient. It really is amazing. When she came back that great Sunday morning, DBF's dog was trying to lick all her wounds. They are like brother and sister. They protect each other and yet they pick on each other.

I'm happy to see all of the familar names too. I am doing ok today. Watched the debate last night in South Carolina; today I need to do some work on research project. I am so sick of winter I am going to visit sister, the cutest niece in the world (she's 2), and brother in law in Austin, Texas in February for 2 weeks. I so hope the weather is nice.

Hi everyone So good to see so many familar faces

Had an early PT appointment this morning. I'm a little tired from that, especially since the snow made it an hour drive

Sitting here getting ready for work. Still wondering if it's worth it. Starting to see issues arising from my cog-fogs. Sigh. Doing my best to stick it out for now.

See you all later

Oh (((Fin))). I can totally relate to what you are going through. Sometimes I am so on top of everything that I think, "Oh, I can go back to work now. Maybe part-time to start." And then, cog fog hits and then I get discouraged.

I am looking for ways to make myself more useful. Well, maybe that is the right term but I want to do more and am trying to figure out the whats and hows. Flexibility is key though. I mean who would hire someone that needs to take a 2 hour nap everyday - some days a 2 hour nap and an hour nap. LOL.
