Amen Brain. Well said.

PS: ADD ON: I do think having a revolving credit helps your credit score. I forgot to add that last night. I do buy 90 days same as cash sometimes. I pulled my mom's credit report when she went bankrupt and it had all her cc's on it showing if she was in good standing or not.

Brain, sorry to have to disagree. We had to get a credit card in order to qualify for a loan on our home in 2003. I love the weirdness of this finance world these days, LOL. The reason - not enough long term revolving credit - even with other loans. So we got one card and that's it. Had that for a month or two and suddenly qualified for a new home loan. So weird.

Renee, sending lots of hugs and prayers your way. Hope your doc can help.

Sandy, Thanks for the update on Renee.

Up early and soon will be heading to training class. Yippee. Actually up and moving this morning. Thank goodness for coffee.

Everyone take care of yourselves today.

Hey all thought I'd pop on and update since Sandy did it for me yesterday! Thanks Sandy! Going to the doctor at 11...went to the urgent care center yesterday waited for an hour never even got called in for vitals and then they told me there was going to be an additional 2-3 hour wait so I left!

I got Olivia enrolled in preschool she starts Monday...my baby girl is growing up!

Sandy googled every possible side effect I could have with the Tysabri while on the phone with me last night! BTW I totally agree with you over the whole CC thing.

Don't seem to have as much back pain today but I haven't moved much either LOL and the nausea is definitely better this morning.

Vonn- men have no concept of time...yet another example of how they are similar to dogs! LOL

How you feelin Barb?

Fin can you bring some coffee over!

Waving at Kitty and Sox!

Kayo hows the ankle-o?

I listen to Clark Howard a lot (consumer advocate) as well as some money shows - they actually advise against this - in reality it lowers your score.

Anything that you buy on a consumer credit (like buying furniture on store credit) lowers your score because you are normally judged by the amount of credit you have open vs what you are using. In a typical store account - they give you X amount of credit and you use the whole thing to purchase their furniture. So it looks like you have a lot of credit in use vs available. There are some other things too, with this type of credit, but the bottom line is that it only hurts you.

Good ratios and payment histories on Credit cards and loans establish good credit.

That being said, I think most CC companies are scumsuckers. My bill used to be due about 3 weeks after I received it. Now it's within about 10 days. They love it because it forces more people to be late and then they can jack up their interest rates. I've been with my CC company for 19 years because they've always been fair to me - do I trust them? heck no!!

Fin - have fun at your training class.

Renee - Glad you are doing a little better. I hope all goes well with the dr today.

Greta - thanks for the cc information.

Got my dr. appt this morning. A good dose of antibiotics and I'll be doing much better by tomorrow. I have to be better by Saturday because that is our MS Walk day. I need to be able to walk or crawl 3 miles! Ok, I can bail out at 1 mile but I'm a little stubborn and will push myself to the limit and then crash at the end.

Renee, Sorry you have been having a rough time. I missed the posts yesterday about your problems. Hope they figure out what is going on. I seem to be experiencing more stiffness in my leg and pain/squeezing in the left side of my rib cage this week. In 2 more weeks I should know if I am developing antibodies to tysabri.

My bladder issues seem to be improving so this may be either another lovely side effect of tysabri or another symptom of MS. I have had the same problem a few times in the past few years and no infection so I guess it is the MS. I just wanted to make sure since UII's are a possible side effect of the drug. I should hear back from the lab today.

tkrik -- sinus infections are a pain in the ***! I was just taking avelox for that and bronchitis. Maybe I should try lavaging. Is that how you spell it? I have seen them in drugstores but found the whole idea a little scary.

My update: doing some work on research project, getting my hair cut today, going to dermatologist for full mole check tomorrow. I have such an exciting life.

no, wait, let's REALLY dream big!

let's make all of the above PERMANENT!

but hey, I'll settle no PAIN... (lifts ankle, to adjust Ace bandage)

Back from doctor she checked UA that was it didn't even feel my stomach said it was probably tysabri related and sent me home. I did find out though that my Vit d level is yet again dangerously low, normal levels are 25-50 although in caucasians it is often near 70...last time I was deficient about a year ago it was 8 now it is less than 2...gonna have to find out why that is.

Secondly I got a new neuro referral however they are not MS specialists...they did say the majority of their patients either have MS or seizures. I guess we'll see.
