Argh, Renee!! I can feel your pain, numbness, shock, and disbelief al at once. I went through a horrible situation with my husband a few years back. It feels like someone dropped a bomb in the middle of your life. I questioned EVERYTHING in our life, it felt like ALL of it must've been fake. PM me when you are up to talking. All I wanted then was to get out of that house, I went to my parents also. Please take care of you and get some help with the kids. ((((Renee))))

Renee I hope you got a little rest last night. Bless your heart - I just cannot believe that anyone could do something like this to someone - let alone their family. Just know that I'm thinking about you and if there is anything I can do to help just let me know. I'm glad your folks are coming to help you move.

I know it probably seems impossible right now to even get your mind around all of this but you will get through it. Just take it a day, or an hour or a minute at a time.

Good morning all Have my morning cup of coffee and trying to wake up.

Man, I am sore from yesterday. I have muscles screaming that I didn't even know I had! But it's a good feeling, as weird as it seems. Still have a few other things to tackle today, but I'll do a little at a time.

~~~~~~~~~~
Renee, Hoping you got some rest last night.
Frank, fingers are crossed that you'll be coming home soon.
Fin - So, what are you going to do on day #2? LOL. Housecleaning can be great exercise. When I clean I stretch at the same time. I make every move count. I decided that when I can clean my whole place all in one shot and in 2 hours, it is time to consider going back to the workforce. It has been 2 years now and I still have to break it up (kitchen/livingroom one day, bathroom/my bedroom the next, DDs room - I don't touch that. That's their responsibility. Laundry another day. Then I do the cycle again. Many days I don't get much further than the kitchen.)
Renee - How are you doing, sweetie? I hope you were able to get some rest. I am so glad your parents will be coming to help you through this. Hang in there. Amp up your inner strength as you need for both yourself and the kids. Still saying prayers for you.
Frank - Glad to hear from you. I'm sorry Chucky is still giving you a hard time and your plumbing is a little out of whack. But, hopefully you will be going home today. Still saying my prayers for you too.
Hi Everyone else! Hope you all have a good day.
I started following this thread just a few days ago.
Geez Renee - this is way tough. Keep going, your kids will help you just with love. Where is the SOB?
I am leaving for NY to see my son graduate from college. dreading the 5 hour flight. dreading leaving the house.
life is so routine in the house.
so we shall see.
Good Morning everyone!
The sun is shining today so I am happy. I am so sick of dreary, rainy days. I have an appointment with my pcp in 30 miunutes. I am still experiencing some tightness in throat/upper chest so I guess that means more tests. He has already ordered a pulmonary function test. Maybe this is MS hug? I know he also may order some cardiac tests.
Renee, Just want to let you know I am thinking about you and your kids. Stay strong!
Frank, Hope you are on your way home.
Sandy, Hope you have been able to figure out a way to get Jim treatment.
Hope you all have a good weekend!
Sending huge hugs to Renee. I thought about you all night and said a few special prayers for you and the kids. I am so angry and hurt for you. After I spoke to you last night my heart ached. You were so sad and I couldn't do anything about it.
Aarcyn, he's already in Arkansas. He took leave from the AF to do all this.
UPDATE: I ended up helping Nik move anyway. His car broke down again and so off I went. I got home about 11pm and was tired to say the least. He had it towed to the mechanic but it's going to the junk yard gravesite today. He'll be looking for a new car today and mom and dad will be taking him tomorrow or Sunday to buy one if Jim is feeling better.
