Frank, that is one smart kid you've got. You must be proud of him.

Totally understand being sick of docs and meds. Hang in there!

Kay, Loved the pic. Almost spit coffee on the computer, I was laughing so hard.

~~~~~~~
Still feeling a little run down and it's supposed to be hot, hot, hot. Heat wave time right now, and I'm looking to hug the A/C the next couple of days.
I'm thinking of running to Target today to get some organization stuff to help me with my projects for the home. Will do it before noon definitely, otherwise I'd melt, LOL.
hope everyone has a great day.
Good morning everyone!
Fin - I'm glad you had fun yesterday visiting your old work.
Frank - That is awesome about your son. You must be so proud of him. Congratulations on doing a great job raising him.
Sandy - I don't like those machines much either. I have mine coming and am not looking forward to it. Did you hear from your son yet?
Kay - Awesome cartoon! LOL.
Kitty - I think Kay's cartoon would be equally torturous.
Hi Barb, Becky, Renee, and anyone else I missed. I hope everyone has a good day.
here's hoping our dear sweet thread-participants of the male persuasion either *miss* this page, or aren't offended by my silliness.
I haven't heard from Nik yet but will call later this afternoon. He works until 6pm.
We're meeting Chris's "new girlfriend" today. Her name is Jill. She's coming out for a southern fried chicken meal. She's hispanic and her mom cooked an authentic meal for Chris so it's my turn to cook for Jill.
The house is coming along. I finished cleaning the basement and utility room yesterday. Three more garbage bags to add. I have a pile of goodwill stuff to go out this next week. My next project is getting the rest of the baseboards put in by my contractor and cleaning the garage. Then it's the shed, the dungeon of doom. lol
I am waiting for the hot water heater guy to call to let me know when he will be coming over. It is not considered an emergency since I have cold water.
Took me a long time to clean up the area. DH had been promising to do it but never had the time. I have the time, just not the physical ability, till it was imperative.
Garage temperature was about 90 degrees.
Geez, most of the stuff should have gone in the garbage or recycler. We get boxes and paper filler every week, he just piled it on the side out of the way, until the water heater exploded and soaked the cardboard and stuffing.
I left a bunch of ladders, suitcases, etc in his spot, my passive/aggressive protest!
The utilities company is giving a rebate for an energy/water saving heater. If the heater is going to break, at least it has good timing. Just uses money we do not want to spend on it.
Ok guys,
I need some help. I have searched google till I'm blue in face and can't find 2 card games that magically disappeared from my computer!
I am trying to find the regular, old fashioned Solitaire Card game and the Golf card game. Microsoft changed Solitaire to Spider Solitaire and Golf disappeared. I started searching and find tons of games but all I want is plain old Solitaire and Golf.
I keep finding info saying Microsoft discontinued them but there has got to be a way to find them. I'm hacked off that they just changed them on my computer without letting me know. It must have been in an update that had a bunch of junk in it that I didn't read because I don't understand.
This is a mission for all my board buddies to find just these 2 little desktop card games for me. Please help me. I will be forever grateful.
Becky all I could find was a freeware site that may help you get the game back. It has a download for solitaire: Solitaire and Golf solitaire
