it was hard enough bringing my eMac on the plane, LOL !!

besides, the jungle is HARD on delicate electronics.

in the past 3 years, here's what's croaked so far:

PDA (his)
GPS (his)
cellphones (2 - both of ours)
eMac (mine)
laptop (his)
Nikon digital camera (mine)
Sony digital camera (his)

the heat, humidity, bugs, etc. are not kind to modern devices...
