Sorry frank I don't have a doc either, but if it gets too bad I will call a friend who is a doc.

Hey all! I gave Jim a leg massage yesterday and I think I heard him say he was in heaven. lol We'd better do that several times a week to keep those legs loose. He's sleeping right now because the spasms were bad last night. I may be putting a call into the doc today because Jim said his legs were raising up again last night. I am going to do some laundry today and think of something to do for Jim's b-day tomorrow. He said he'd like to drop a line in the water and maybe hit the ice cream store.

Renee, I hate that your hurting. You really do need to try and see a doctor. I know you don't have insurance but these things need to be dx'd so it helps your ssdi claim. Is there a free clinic anywhere near you?

I did have that pain once and they thought I had Bell's Palsy. I didn't have that but was put on Vitamin B12 complex and it helped. Maybe you can try to pick some of that up at Walmart and see if it helps. Oh, I saw your text the next morning. I tried to call you around 8:30 last night but the phone was busy.

Weave, lol, CHARGE IT! I am hearing Wilma Flintstone!

Frank, how are you feeling this morning?

Jenn, I think our days of coolness is over. I saw the weather this morning and next week looks too humid for comfort. Ugh

Everyone else have a great day and prayers for good health all around.

and, I called the disability about rescheduling ...she said that it might end up being pushed out farther now .. and I lost it (cried) ... and she's going to see about the change and making the appointment closer to Madison ..and closer date, too.

that's all I've been doing since 630am this morning is crying ... I'm tired of trying to 'hang on' anymore ... I'm all alone ... and feel guilty leaning on my friends ... I'm trying to accept all the little miracles that come my way, tho.

all I need right now is a good swift-kick in the backside and buck-up ... but, that's getting numb too! LOL
Aww, Vonn, don't cry...... It'll get better, I promise.

I'd be calling that disability office daily - and let them know how stressed out this whole ordeal is making you - they need to "feel your pain" and get their arses in gear and get your SSDI claim approved.

You're not alone...you have all of us here!! I know, scary thought, huh?? We love ya....and are standing behind you all the way.

Okay....here is your swift kick in the backside...

thanks .. the kick helps!

I think the girl did 'feel' my pain ... I dumped on her about losing my job, being 'asked' to move, being semi-homeless, having no income, my credit is shot ... all because I have a disease I didn't ask for and because my doctors don't want me returning to work!! and I'm the one caught in the middle just waiting ...

this is exactly what I said "before being diagnosed, I was going 100mph in life and now, I'm treated as a 'waste' to society, because I listen to my doctors and am being penalized for having a disease (with no cure) that I didn't ask for ... and it's very frustrating without knowing the questions to ask or where to turn" ... it almost sounded like she got choked up and started to cry ...

ya! yous guys are a scary-bunch!! ... LOL thanks for helping me hang on ...

Vonn, I missed your post somehow. I am so sorry and wish there was something we could do. Don't you have a friend who will drive you there? I don't understand why it's so far but I think whatever happens they need to get you in fast.

Speaking of which. Renee, is it possible to call SSDI and ask them to let one of their docs re-evaluate you? I think it's so unfair to make you wait for them to get the judges report. That is not your fault that he's slacking or they are slacking.

I just wish there was something your state could do for all of you trying to get approved. Not to mention Tricare denying you coverage because your husband divorced you, THAT is the most unfair. If it were you asking for the divorce it would make sense. But to have the military diss the wife who was innocent makes me madder than a rabid dog!

Vonn, I can't kick you in the butt. Sorry. lol

thanks, Sandy ... it's about time to re-read the 'unsinkable' book again!

I just called the county about programs ... now waiting waiting .. oh, just get a recording ... LOL ..

gosh - I used to get YELLED at for not having patience (that was all my life before the dx) ... now I realize why they were yelling at me so much!

yes, Frank... TN can present differently (atypical TN)

here's some interesting stuff on TN, and treatment:

http://www.irsa.org/trigeminal_neuralgia.html

it's caused (in people with MS) by a lesion in a specific place, BUT... it can be triggered by face-touching, chewing, talking, yawning, etc.

most of the people with TN don't have MS, and only a small percentage of the people with MS will ever get TN.

guess we're some of the lucky ones?

anyway, there's LOTS of things that can be tried to deal with it.

since mine is infrequent, (in comes in batches, last summer was gnarly) I have opted to NOT take medicine for it, as the medicine has to already BE in your system, which means taking it ALL THE TIME, even though the tic doloroux only comes here and there for me.

BUT................ if it came more frequently, or got worse, I'd definitely explore those options again.

NaeNae, that's what me and Frankie-baybee were discussing a few million pages back in this thread...

HE calls his visitor/attacker CHUCKY, and me, I call it Sharon Stone with an ICEPICK (stab stab stab!)

VS

see page 148 and 149, lol !!

even though we're being tormented by all the imps and spawn of Satan, we still have fun.

vonn I am sorry i also missed that post too,

well its official we all have sinus infections but our family doc gave us free meds for all, he really helps us out he would make a good country doc,

Vonn ok so you have to wait for degree an extra semester, you are getting your degree in feb, I have waited way too long i have an AA and AS majors in history and science with minors in child develop and education, and still no teaching degree. will that suffice as a kick in the pants rather this hang in there, you will succeed

Yes Kay i do recall chuckie verse sharon stone

Tammy i am sorry, but if it allows you more quality time with craig then why not get a cleaning service, i know a few on here have cleaning services

Renee like sandy said sucks seeing you hurt without so much help, ER can not refuse you with or without ins

Yea Vonn, I have a AA and BFA but never finished the Masters degree. I was three classes short of graduating and didn't get back in time to finish. Life stepped up and took place instead. It's all good, couldn't use it anyway now. Besides, I was doing it for the workplace, not really for myself. lol
