Hang in there. Not excusing the hubby's (mine, yours & everyone else)or other people's views but it's hard for them to understand when they aren't in our shoes. So again hang in there and use this board all you can for support.

Sorry I didn't see this until today.

Sometimes my husband gets that way, but for him it's because he's frustrated that he can't fix this. He complains that the neuros aren't doing anything, but I know better than to remind him about the aspects of my MS. He knows, and he's venting. Sometimes he's feeling as helpless as I am for something we can't control.

This first year was an interesting year for us. We've had a few blowups during and immediately after the diagnosis process. But in the end, we're communicating better than we did before.

Hoping things get better soon.

Thank you , today is already looking better so far. DH and I don't really "fight" any more, he says something ugly I tell him what a butt he's being and than leave the room. Later he acts like all is fine, I remind him what a butt he was, he apologizes and than life goes now. It works for us.
Last night at dinner I was shacking really bad, I had a hard time just getting to food to my month, DH saw me shacking and jumped on me like I was faking it , he could he!! for that one ALL NIGHT. He apologizes but said he thought I was holding my fork like I was so it would shack more Oh brother, he just doesn't know how hard it really is for me. He's getting better tho.

yeah, I went nearly NUTS when people were saying Michael J. Fox was exaggerating his symptoms for sympathy (last year)

and that wasn't even directed at ME!

now in all honesty, I must admit, I DID keep leaning forward when L'Hermitte's was zinging me ('cause the feeling was just so WEIRD!)

but seriously, NOBODY in their right MIND would deliberately shake on purpose, or shake MORE.

it just might APPEAR that way due to the (sometimes awkward) manner in which numb or dysthesic (is that a word? lol!) HANDS might have to GRASP utensils.

anyway, hugs flying northward, to clasp you in a warm and sympathetic embrace.

Thank you SO much CayoKay, that pic is SO cute.
OK, I did the same thing when I was having the L'Hermitte's 4 years ago, It was so funny and odd at the same time. I almost miss that feeling, once in a blue moon it will still do that but what I get now is if I look up (all the way) my neck gets a severe pain and it's hard to move my head back down.

Awww, Julie. I hope things are going better for you today & your DD's fever is down. Having a sick child plus a bad headache is enough to ruin your day, but add increasing symptoms & a surly hubby to the mix, well, that's just not fair.

Is it safe to come out yet?
