I forgot to mention that yes you can freeze regular rice. But, it's after it is cooked and then you just thaw it out and put it in the microwave or whatever. I have not read anything that says anything about freezing raw rice. There perhaps is no need for that. You can't freeze the cooked minute rice type as when thawed and fixed, it gets gummy.
Another thought on the coffee. I guess if you aren't a connoissueur of coffee - I'm sure not:D - it wouldn't matter much if you keep it in the fridge or the freezer. Just my thoughts:winky: |

Never thought about keeping cornmeal in the fridge but that's probably a good idea. Mine is in a container that has a good lid on it and in a cool, dark place. I know people who keep their cigs in the fridge as I understand it does keep them fresh. I don't smoke :winky: but thanks. |
Bugs in your flour or rice just means you can cut down on your meat purchases, your getting free protein!
Prices have doubled or more and expected to rise, one way to beat price increases that may drive away business was to stockpile these items. Drought in Australia also an effect on it, a booming world population and conversion of food to fuel all a factor. The USA was one of the worlds largest exporters of food, if we are going to attempt to turn it to fuel? |
