HAH!!!

Isn't this cool!!!

You should have seen me do the first trick I learned.

I learned how to make a salt shaker disappear through the center of my kitchen table.

I did it for Alan. You should have seen the look on his face.

Just now, as he was getting up for the day (he gets up later than I do), I walked into the bedroom and I said "are you ready for my new magic trick"? He said "Is it better than putting a salt shaker through the kitchen table"? and I said "I can make anything float in mid-air".

He said 'get outta here".

Well, I prepped for the trick, I marched into the room. I did the trick, and he jumped up off the bed.

God only knows what I'll learn the next time. lol

Sounds like you almost made Alan levitate! Show us more of your tricks when you learn 'em. Looks like fun!

Yeah, I'm a hoot!!! lol

Want to know what this hoot just did??

This hoot just came back from Dunkin Donuts where I met a guy with a laptop (up stairs where I usually sit and read my newspaper).

Well, this guy taught me (for one hour), everything I wanted to learn about laptops, routers, where to plug in stuff, Windows Vista. How to bring up the webcam software, etc.

I had never been close to a laptop before. I just wanted to learn.

I told him I went to IBM computer school 30 years ago. He found that fascinating. He said "I don't go anywhere without my laptop".

Then some 20 year old kid (who I thought was playing on a playstation), was listening to us and I happen to say "you know they have these devices where you hold it in the palm of your hand and you can go on the internet".

The 20 year old laughs and comes over and says "Oh you mean like this?" and I said "what do you mean, isn't that thing a video game?" and he laughed and said 'No, it's a phone".

I said 'IT'S A PHONE, how is it a phone?"

Whereupon he flips it one way, it changed form and it became a phone. You should have seen my face. He said 'I go on the internet with this also".

I said "I have heard of the iphone, I gather this is similar".

Then I learned about hand held phone thingees that you do LOTS OF STUFF ON.

See, I'm not about to go and buy these things because I don't have the money to do it, BUT I CAN LEARN ALL ABOUT IT.

Boy was my brain working today.

I am filing all this info away so just in case I'm able to purchase a laptop (Alan hogs the computer because he can't really go anywhere so all he does is watch tv and go on the computer).

So when I AM able to go on the internet, I learn magic.

I've learned 3 card tricks, how to push a salt shaker right through the kitchen table, and now I can do the floating ball thing.

OH AND I FORGOT TO MENTION, I showed Alan how to levitate.

I watched it on the tv, went on the internet. It's called the Balducci Levitation.

You should have seen his face when I went three inches off the floor.

Actually, it's all an illusion, but I get a kick out of seeing his face when I do this.

So it's ON TO MORE MAGIC for me!!!!

lol
